Ginger and Spice — Restaurant in District of Gungahlin

Had a really upsetting experience with the delivery service- I’m a fairly regular customer so this is disappointing and I won’t be ordering delivery again.

Food was nice, but when I ordered through Ginger and Spice website it said the food would be approximately 30 mins- it ended up taking approx 1 hr 30 mins. Also once the 30 mins online estimate expired it didn’t include an updated estimated delivery time so we were left guessing when our food would be arriving.

Also in the delivery instructions we wrote very specific instructions to the driver to say that the intercom did not work. But when the delivery driver buzzed I could hear him angrily buzzing the intercom and yelling at me over the microphone. Then when I came down to collect the order from him he just stared at me and said nothing- I don’t think he was able to speak very good English because he wasn’t able to respond to me. He also ignored my call when I tried to speak to him to explain the intercom wasn’t working.

For an extra $6 for delivery, this is not acceptable. Delivery is meant to be a convenience, not a worse experience than going to pick up the...

I ordered special fried rice and yellow chicken curry today at 07:36pm via Hungry panda. Delivery code 76091361. I mentioned in the app that NO PRAWNS in the fried rice. Also I called to the store immediately and told them not to put any sea food. I am anaphylactic to sea food. When the food came the fried rice is full of prawns. It's the matter of life and death. I can attach the image to this. Can you please give some importance to your customer and please be careful to note if the customer needs any dietary requirements. This is not the first time. Waste of food. I am going to throw it as even the smell makes me hard to breathe. Terrible experience. I will never ever order from here. Those who are reading this please be careful if you are allergic to something. Please don't go to this shop. Not only that we waited for more than an hour for the food to deliver. Don't sell foods for your own profit at least give some consideration to the customers.
