The food is very good and extremely generous for the price. However the customer service needs a little bit of work. When my friend and I came in we were greeted and quickly filled out the kebab paper bag and stood at the counter. Another customer came in and I was ignored while he had a conversation with that customer making me think that he was going to take his order before mine, which I think did happen because he sat down to wait before us. Then my order was taken. Followed by my friends and we sat down. We noticed that he got his food before us. And another person ordered two meals and received them our had even started being prepared. I was then asked 15 mins after my order was taken what exactly I wanted in my kebab as I had ticked vegetarian, I replied zucchini balls, I could see the worker was slightly annoyed in my response and she said falafel would be faster. I let them know I don’t like falafel. They told me I would have to wait. Which I was totally fine with. My main problem is that two people that ordered after us were seemingly prioritised over us, the conversation about how long it will take should have happened before the people after us were served and as soon as my order was placed. Not make us wait 15 minutes for it to be had, to then try and make me choose an alternative filling because maybe you realised that yourself. Cause if it had happened when I first placed the order not 15mins later then the wait time for us would have been a lot shorter.

Really understand that you guys also receive online orders and sometimes things happen in the back and such. However, we did feel that maybe the two customers that ordered and served before us were made the priority and were pushed aside. Was hoping to maybe make this place my regular Turkish restaurant as I live just upstairs, but considering not all customers might not be treated equally, I’m...

Put simply they do the best kebab in Canberra that I've had, that's assuming you want a kebab that is fresh, with the perfect quantity of salad sauce and meat/vegetable filling. I get the mixed kebab with lettuce, onion and tabouli along with bbq and garlic sauce. Firstly, the mixed portions are sliced off the giant rotating kebabs then put on the grill and diced up. This gets it nicely combined and hot. Secondly, they use just the right amount of (really fresh) salad so that each bite is the correct proportion of salad and meat. Thirdly, the garlic sauce is fresh and has an excellent flavour, and the bbq sauce is not too sweet. They use just the right mix so that each sauce compliments the other. Then once the kebab is wrapped in foil it's put under the sandwich press so it's nice and hot even with a drive home, and the bread gets a little bit of toasting. I will comment that many shops use bread that is way too thick. These guys use the round lebanese bread that is not too thick as to be like eating dough, and not too thin that it disintegrates. This bread stays together perfectly and keeps the contents inside even when the foil is first unwrapped halfway to two-thirds down. I should also mention they aren't shy about the amount of meat they put in but as mentioned above everything is in balance. Their chips are top shelf (I get them with plain salt) every single time. They are efficient and get the food out fast even when really busy. The consistency is key. Having had many, many kebabs from this place I've never been disappointed.

If you want a fantastic kebab and you're in Gungahlin, this is the place to visit. Parking can be challenging but it's worth it even if there's a short...

A Culinary Gem: Gungahlin Kebab and Pizza

During a scenic drive from Sydney to Jindabyne, I had the pleasure of discovering a culinary gem - Gungahlin Kebab and Pizza. This delightful eatery is a fusion of flavors, offering an exquisite blend of Indian, Pakistani, and Turkish cuisines.

Tandoori and Lahori Delights: The restaurant’s specialty lies in its Tandoori and Lahori styled chicken pizza - a mouthwatering creation that tantalizes the taste buds with its rich, smoky flavors and perfectly spiced toppings.

Turkish Savory Sensations: The full menu doesn’t stop at pizza; it boasts an array of Turkish shish and doner kebabs. Each kebab is a masterpiece of taste, with succulent meats that are both tender and bursting with spices.

Impeccable Cleanliness: The cleanliness of Gungahlin Kebab and Pizza is top-notch, creating an inviting atmosphere that complements the dining experience. It’s evident that they hold high standards for hygiene and customer comfort.

Flavorful Excellence: The flavors here are nothing short of excellent. Every dish is a testament to the chefs’ expertise in blending spices and cooking techniques from different culinary traditions.

Superior Customer Service: The staff at Gungahlin Kebab and Pizza are not just friendly; they provide superior customer service that makes you feel welcomed and valued. Their attentiveness and warm hospitality enhance the overall...

Enjoy the ā€œ Junk of the junk ā€œ :) When you are tired of the healthy food, or long diet life, come here and pay $12( small size in the picture ) with sour cream and sweet chilli sauceā˜† Inside of store is nothing, boring white floor and white wall, big noise of fun, and greasy full of local taste and I had ā€œ Deja vuā€ of little town of Queens next to the Manhattan. This is not the Forest hills ( in Queens ) but maybe this place could be like there in the future …. ( I used to lived in there ) I love their chips! Marinated with some spices. Yeeeey! Welcome to the Unhealthy food life ( only once in a month ) !! Better to go there with empty stomach.

This place used to be the best kebab shop in Gungahlin, I don’t know what has changed, I’m assuming they under new management again as the quality of the food is appalling, I ordered a small chicken snack pack with tabouli & onion on top, I received it with no onion or tabouli, the chicken was under seasoned & I don’t think they added any salt to the chips & the cheese was on top instead of on the chips & the cheese they used was horrible aswell, I’m very disappointed with my order & this is the last time I order any food from here, I will now support Lokma in Casey & yarralumla

The pizzas are good but can be better, What I loved was their extensive range of fusion flavours. You can always have half n half to try different ones. The prices aren't bad either. Yet to try their kebabs. The place and atmosphere though needs a lot of attention and Ventilation. The place is very confined with fumes and heat around, giving a claustrophobic vibe. For the ppl in some reviews saying, certain ppl shouldn't be serving food from certain parts of the world. Do they want restaurants to hire Italians for serving pizzas and Turks for Kebabs.?? Lol.. get a grip.
