Title: Shocking Lack of Professionalism and Service
I regret to say that my recent experience at KFC, the largest restaurant chain in Australia, left me utterly disappointed and compelled me to leave this one-star review.
First and foremost, it is baffling to me that an establishment of this size and reputation could have such poorly trained front staff. Upon entering the restaurant, it was clear that chaos reigned supreme. There seemed to be a complete lack of organization, with staff members appearing confused and overwhelmed.
But that's not the worst of it. The real issue here is the haphazard way in which they prepare and serve their food. I witnessed customers waiting for their orders for an hour or more, only to see someone who had just arrived getting their food before them. It was as if the concept of first-come, first-served had completely eluded the staff.
The most frustrating part of this experience is the apparent apathy towards customer feedback, as reflected in their existing Google reviews. It's evident that many customers have had similar terrible experiences, and yet there seems to be no effort on KFC's part to improve their service and professionalism.
It's disheartening to see a restaurant chain with such a prominent presence in Australia failing so spectacularly in delivering a basic level of customer service and organization. KFC, you have a long way to go in redeeming your reputation in my eyes and in the eyes of countless others who have suffered through similar experiences. Until significant improvements are made, I'll be taking my business elsewhere, where my time and money are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis review should be for zero stars but the minimum I can add is one. This isn't just the worst KFC around, it's one of the worst business I've ever seen. If you go to this KFC through the drive through, do not expect to receive what you have payed for. I have repeatedly received incorrect order or had missing food. I have on numerous occasions had to go back to this store or contacted KFC online due to these issues. Make sure you get a receipt, do not except it when they say it's too late or they can't print it.. I have had to refuse to move until I get a receipt. I must admit, this review is partly my fault because like a fool I keep going back hoping that it will improve, stupid me. An example of the hopeless service from KFC gungahlin was just today. I ordered 2 x three piece feeds with coleslaw. I get home to find that neither of the meals had coldslaw despite me paying for it. They were kind enough to give me 4 spoons (it's rare I actually receive any, one time I received knives for my Gravy, but that's for another review), but how many spoons can I actually put into my potato and Gravy? Anyways, the tldr: Crooks, don't...

Today KFCGungahlin had run out of chicken for the 3 piece box. They said they would need to fry a new batch, - 20-30mins wait. Now last week KFC Dickson had run out of their popcorn slab. Kokoro, a Japanese restaurant in Gungahlin, frequently runs out of sushi. So a 20min wait did not seem all that bad, all things considered. I said cool, I'll wait, no problem. The Asian guy taking orders tried to dissuade me as much as possible, surprised that I didn't want to order anything else or go home.
He told me to wait in the specially marked parking bays. A guy next to me got sick of waiting and drove off. However, the Asian guy came running out with the order just after he'd left. I asked if I could have the runner guy's food, and Asian guy goes " I told you, your order will take 20mins." Anyway, that bag of food probably went to waste. Shame.
I went to the loo, took less than a minute. Luckily, my order arrived pretty quickly, probably waited...
