I had been there a few times but my most recent visit was not pleasant.

I had ordered 3 main dishes and I will go through them one by one.

First one was the beef noodle soup. In my knowledge, soup’s are supposed to be boiling hot so it cooks the meat (eat raw meat that has been sitting in the fridge=food poisoning🤢). Mine was just warm so the meat wasn’t cooking which was fine I just wanted them to heat the soup up. The lady who served me was helpful but another lady came up and argued that I had ordered a take away and that is why it’s not hot! In my head I was shouting no wrong so correct me if I am wrong I feel takeaway should be hot because the soup is separate so when I actually eat it it will be still hot?!? Hmmm then when she the lady took the food to finally heat it up she preceded to shake her head to the chef about me...Extremely disappointed as all I wanted was to heat my food so I can eat and not get food poisoning. From there I started to see the faults in the other meals my family ordered.

Secondly the pork with rice.

The crackling pork with rice are also not hot enough. I feel like they are trying to save electricity for some weird crazy thing. Usually when I eat anywhere you keep your meat hot enough so it does not go off!! The pork I was eating was chewy and I would say that it was not hot enough that is why it went chewy!!!

The banh mi was ok. Never minded the pork roll. But as I said the bloody pork was chewy it ruined it!!!

No idea if this was the only time but I am for sure that I will never buy food there again until they fix their attitude problems. Next time apologise to me and fix the food so customers can actually start to enjoy their food!!

I would not suggest this to anyone atm. I hope people reads this and start paying attention to the food they eat.

One more thing, they don’t even have a proper soup spoon for your soup!! They have this little plastic spoon they gave me. Can’t eat your noodle soup properly that way if you had eating in a proper Vietnamese...

SERIOUSLY THE WORST PLACE TO EAT, I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW THIS PLACE HAS SO MANY GOOD REVIEWS. I EAT AT PROPER VIETNAMESE RESTAURANTS AT LEAST 2-3 TIMES A WEEK SO I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.

I ORDERED THE CRISPY SKIN CHICKEN WITH EGG NOODLE SOUP..AND IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, THE SOUP WAS OFF AND THE NOODLES ARE NOT FRESH COOKED NOODLES. THEY USE THE PACKET NOODLES AND JUST THROW IT IN THE BOWL AND TRY AND MAKE THEM SOFTEN AND ADD THEYRE OLD OFF SOUP, I HAD TO TRY AND MAKE THE NOODLES SOFTEN WHICH DIDNT WORK.

THEY TASTED PLASTICY AND OFF. OH AND THE CRISPY SKIN CHICKEN THEY GIVE YOU IS ANOREXIC LITTLE PEACE WITH BARELY ANY MEAT ON IT AT ALL.

I BROUGHT IT BACK AND THE GUY SERVING ME COULDNT OF CARED LESS. HE SAID I CAN ONLY SWAP THE NOODLES TO THE PHO NOODLES WHICH I DIDNT WANT . I WANTED A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MEAL BUT HE SAID THEN WHAT AM I GONNA DO WITH YOUR FOOD..I SAID IM THE CUSTOMER AND IM NOT HAPPY AND HE SAID I CANT DO ANYTHING EXCEPT FOR CHANGE YOUR NOODLES WHICH ENDED UP BEING CHOPPED UP RICE NOODLES WHICH I COULDNT EVEN PICK UP WITH MY FORK OR CHOPSTICKS. I HAD TO USE A SPOON..

MY BEST FRIEND THAT ORDERED THE SAME LATER REALISED THE SAME THING AND BROUGHT HIS BACK AND THEY GAVE HIM A REFUND FOR HIS. WHERE WAS MY REFUND ?? NOW IM SITTING HERE STARVING WITH A SORE STOMACH FROM THEYRE HORRIBLE SOUP AND NOODLES.

THIS IS COMING FROM SOMEONE WHI EATS OUT EVEYDAY FOR LUNCH AND DINNER. I KNOW MY FOOD AND MY GOOD FOOD AND WHAT QUALITY IS AND ISNT. THEYRE RIPPING OFF EVERYONE BY SERVING THAT KIND OF FOOD. SHAME ON YOU MS BA CÔ .

DISGUSTING. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. 0 STARS

HONESTLY THE WORST MEAL...

“Great Pho, But Customer Service Needs Improvement”

I’m from Sydney and have tried many Pho restaurants across the city. I honestly think this Pho is one of the best I’ve had—both the flavor and portion size are excellent, and the pricing is reasonable.

However, I was quite disappointed with the customer service. The man at the cashier didn’t seem friendly or welcoming. As a first-time customer unfamiliar with the menu, I felt rushed while ordering, as if he was impatient with me for taking a bit longer. My girlfriend, who loves spicy food, added three spoons of chili to her bowl, and we could clearly sense that he wasn’t happy about that either. I don’t understand why, especially if the condiments are complimentary.

Overall, the food was great, but the staff—particularly the cashier—needs to improve their attitude and approach to customer service. A better service experience would make this place truly...

The Banh Mi (Vietnamese rolls) are AMAZING. I'd honestly rate them the best in Canberra, having tried all the top rated ones in Canberra (the Banh Mi quest we've all been on, admit it) The rolls are fresh with a satisfying crunch on the outside and soft on the inside; the toppings are also top notch, and you can tell they care about the food they sell. The white raddish they add is a nice touch as well, adding a nice crunch and a little sweetness to the roll. The regular Saigon roll had plenty of delicious duck paté, and the sliced meat inside was REAL MEAT - not processed like you get literally everywhere else I've been in Canberra. The roast pork was also top notch - amazing crackling, and the meat was actually tender and delicious! 11/10 recommend this place if you're after a good Banh Mi - they're $8 a pop, but this one's definitely worth it.

THE BEST VIETNAMESE IN CANBERRA! if you looking for ambience, this isn't place to go but, if you looking for a taste then this is so far the best one in Canberra. you will not dissappoint, the Pho Bo is the best Pho I've had outside Vietnam (it'sall about the broth). the Com Tam (broken rice) I suggest you go for com tam with crispy pork belly, OMG! I live in Banks and wouldnt mind to drive to majura but I'm so happy when they open at tuggeranong now.. and finally the banh mi, omg.. can't even think about it, just give it a go then you'll find the truth of what I'm trying to tell... if i could give them 10 out of 5 then I definitely would! mind you, try to get there before lunchtime otherwise it's a bloody long que but anyway.. they are the best! can't wait to go back..

Delicious vegan Bahn Mi ($7). Filled with lots of fried/braised tofu to make it a convienient filling meal. The filling was very fresh and with great flavours. Apart from the tofu the roll had most of the traditional fillings which was a nice change from other ones I've had in Melbourne and Sydney. Only reservation is that the roll could have been fresher, it didn't have the crunchy exterior you usually get and a little chewy, however, I was here at 7pm not the morning. Good amount of chili too - pleasantly surprised as I usually expect there to be minimal heat even when requested! Will be back 😊
