Waited for a table for over 25min as we requested a large table for 6 people. The lady by the name of Aisha said to leave it with her, confirmed with her twice that we are happy to wait so long as we get a table that fits us all! We finally get seated but the tables that were promised to us had been split. They gave 2 tables for 3 people then gave a 2 small tables for a table of six, I explained we are happy to wait again however we would like to sit together as advised by the waitress, that's when another staff member intervened and said this is a small restaurant you can come and sit there or take it away you get what you get. I told him we asked for a larger table as we are 6 adults he said he didn't care this is what they are offering. I requested for him to show me how we can all sit on the table, he then said if you do t like it take it take away!! The man was very rude insisting more then twice to just get it takeaway. When he was confronted by my partner he tried to get physical infront of my kids, he had to be carried away by other staff members as he started to get really heated. This place is not family friendly my kids and I left in a fright. We requested a refund, the guy at the register was so baffled he didn't give us the correct amount. If you are getting takeaway give it a shot!! If you are planning on taken your family...

Coming from Sydney (and being of Lebanese origins), we're spoilt for choice when it comes to Manoosh/Zaatar. So when I say that Al Manoosh in Mawson has some of the best damn Zaatar wraps I've ever had - you better believe it! Their ingredients are fresh, the bread superb - but the gold is in the Zaatar mix itself with the right amount of zesty tang and oregano/thyme/sesame goodness. Only thing i'd wish they'd change is the olives to kalamata vs black to take the wraps to a whole new level of flavour, but as they are - they're amazing. Can't get enough of them. It's like coming home. It's like a little bit of happiness for your tastebuds. Everything they make is delicious - but I can't go past the wrap they're named after. Try it with a little tasty/vintage cheese or labna too for something different and just as delicious. Service is also super friendly and generous!

10/10. Would eat here...

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. We were a group of six and waited over 30 minutes for a table to be prepared. During this time, there was a table already set up for six people, but instead of seating us there, staff removed one of the tables and gave it to another group.

They then tried to seat all six of us at two small tables that couldn’t comfortably accommodate us — in fact, they couldn’t even fit six chairs properly. When we raised our concerns, the staff became extremely rude and unprofessional, which made the entire situation even more uncomfortable.

Overall, the service was unacceptable and the way we were treated was both disrespectful and frustrating. I would not recommend this place based on...

I cannot speak more highly of the amazing staff and the delicious food that the establishment so loving shares with their customers. The food was 10/10! The soft, pillowy, wood fire oven bread with Zaatar was heavenly! The Kunafeh pistachio dessert was the right amount of sweet and decadent. I wish I stayed in Canberra, so I could visit them more often! If you’re in CBR and looking for great vibes, even better food and hospitality please visit Al Manoosh 💕
