The French Pear Cafe — Restaurant in Drouin

You need to send most of your staff on a barista course we have so many bad coffees we won’t be back I keep trying because one lady (wish I new her name) who has been there a while makes a decent coffee but can’t always rely on her to make it. For instance 23/10 around 9.30 we ordered 1mug capp & 1 mug latte, the capp had slight froth then became a flat white because it was so hot the little bit of froth melted, The latte arrived as a flat white, I returned it showing them the problem, another latte arrived too hot & small amount of froth was burnt off & became flat white again, my husband drank his commenting to me it’s the worse coffee he’s ever had, I was so disgusted they couldn’t get it right the second time with my latte I left the cafe with 3/4 of it left behind, no use saying anything they just couldn’t do it ! Low review for the inappropriate posters in the toilets. Assuming this is meant to be a family friendly cafe, catering to children since there is a kids menu. Took my 3 year old to the toilet, and she walked in and said 'mummy those photos are bad'. At first glance the whole room is wrapped around with vintage images of the moulin rouge era. As you look closer, there are countless promiscuous images, indecent exposure and sexually provocative themes that shouldn't be up for display in a family friendly cafe. Food was good, but quite expensive for what it is. Wouldn't go back here based on my above review. My friend from Perth is staying in Moe, I'm in Box Hill so we met in the middle, delightful Drouin. After our train trips we were gagging for good coffee which you provided along with greedy treats & gorgeous surroundings. Came back for lunch - heavenly spuds oozing garlicky butter & everything else. Your chairs are beautiful in every way. May not be very soon but I'll definitely be back. Can't understand the ho hum reviews. Just saying. Don't go changing. 10/1/2020 I said I'd be back! Just as good as memory told me, staff could not be any more accomodating....
