Kims Kitchen (Order Online/ Delivery) — Restaurant in Victoria

I have been enjoying Kyms for two decades , and recently had a delievey which was delicious. So I hope what occurred last week was a one-off for them . We ordered $70.00 worth of food when we got it home and plated it things were really terrible , the rice looked and tastes bolied , the pork belly which was to be sweet was sour it was turned it was not edible...the chicken dish was OK in that it was consumable . When we called in and spoke to management, they claimed that the dishes were perfect and still actively being served with no complaints. Our concerns were not listened to but argued . We asked for a full refund , and we had to drive the meals back in the following day so management could view that they had not been eaten in order to get a full refund . When I arrived we were given $50.00 not they amount we paid and to be honest we had sandwiches for dinner at 10pm . Whilst it was great they gave some money backI felt very let down by the food ....but more so let down as a loyal 20 year customer to have been treated poorly on the phone and not returned full funds . In the past the food has been varied from Average to Good with the one Great meal , so I'd still advise that Kyms is a good take away option in our small town , unfourtuantely we will no longer be ordering our fortnightly...

The absolute worst, avoid at all costs.

Ordered a few meals. The honey prawns were sloppy, unable to be picked up without beingnstripped of the gooey coating (which shoukd be crispy), lacking any honey flavour with only enough sauce to barely coat each piece. The prawns inside were tasteless, rubbery and dried out. I'm certain these are warmed in the microwave from frozen (precoated)! This is not a result of takeaway, we live less than five minutes away and it hadn't sweated. The photo is how the dish was presented, after I had tried to remove just one piece... $29! Fried rice was burned. Could smell as soon as the lid was removed. Noodles in the dish were a thin type, menu suggested thick.

This place has been terrible for some time, we used to visit weekly. We gave it a few months break and gave them another go....never...

It was my dad's 86th birthday yesterday and due to covid we could not celebrate it with him. I phoned Kims Kitchen on Thursday night and asked if they could deliver a meal to him for his birthday dinner and the beautiful girl on the other end of the phone said of course, so I ordered and paid for the meal over the phone for the next day. I asked if she could put a note in it saying Happy Birthday dad she said yes I can do that for you. Well they went further then that dad received a card which bought a tear to his eyes. Thank you Kims Kitchen for making dad's birthday a bit brighter and thank you for going that extra mile. I truly appreciate it. Oh yeah, dad really...
