It's been a few years since I was last here and it has changed a lot. The selection of beer is very limited especially if you like black beer or stout. Just one of each is available. It was very crowded when we visited but the service was fast and efficient. We ate upstairs at One7Eight and it was pretty good. I had the striploin and it was cooked to perfection and very tender. My wife had the gnocchi with creme brulee for desert and both were excellent. I had a cheese platter that could have been better. Overall it isn't as good as it once was but still worth a visit if you are staying close by.

Luckily they accepted us here for dinner, as we had no place to go.We ordered fish with pumpkin and beetroot and a burger beef. The fish was really good but the beef burger was bit bland. The chips were really crisp. The best thing I liked about this place was the atmosphere and there was no loud music or noise. The service was a bit slow as they were rushed. The seating is far so at least we are not too close to people.Helpings were good.A wonderful place to meet up with friends or family.

Visiting Dubbo for a couple of nights so we went and had dinner at the RSL. The Guy who helped us sign in very friendly and helpful. Quite a few people there for dinner. We decided on the Chicken Schnitzel with a topper. Mine was Supreme and my partners was a Texan. The meal also came with chips and salad. $23 The meal was massive, neither of us finished our meals. We played a few games of Keno. Nice spot and pretty reasonably priced.

Bringing my passengers to this club for a function, pre booked, myself went to the bottom club lounges or gelato & coffee , waiting for over 25 min or longer with the understanding of being overwhelmed by influx of customers atm of service, myself after pushing service buzzer twice prior with No response only to told by older staff lady behind counter to push counter button again! Waiting further 10 min being engorged by the elder Filipino lady numerous times as she walked away and back number of times , instead of being served , waiting until till this young blonde haired staff member coming out serving myself “being as Rude “as can be ! This was witnessed by another elderly gentleman as well , including the group of parents who were with my group of passengers travelling on the bus I was doing the charter job for . Further more this young lass after me served some young child aprox 5 yr old for some ice cream yelling at her ( what do you want !! Repeatedly ,, this was witness by one of the parents in my group!! As we sat very near by hearing all was said to This poor little quiet indigenous child of no connection with our charter group of parents sitting witnessing this poor behaviour. we’re totally disgusted to see this happen this child coward down in fear from this narcissistic staff member unit she receives her product of purchase walk away ,the staff member did tone down and backed off a bit towards this young kid after one of the parents in our group looked at this staff member staring of her bad service manner s as she served the child . As for excuse of being over served by many patronage at the time 630 till 8 pm ( yes& agree) but theses large group had pre booked their requirements and times s as they do every year. Myself to be treated the way I was , being disgusted at the two staff members and as my previous employment of trade as well as this trade of employment now ,would never treat customers the way I was by the two mentioned being drummed in (A customer s money for a product pays a wage . )transportation of passengers of 20 yrs now I personally won’t recommend. But in saying this negative feed back (after talking to some of my passengers of their experience up stairs in the booking conference. There was a good feedback . Please address my complaint with staff in concern....

Ordered our meals for 4 adults nice and early, so we could watch the footy on a Friday night. First meal comes (Schitzel with a topper) about 20 minutes later which was amazing. We wait for the 3 other meals, and we wait, the line for people ordering was getting longer. Person seated at table next to us who came in after us gets his meal, same as one of my companions ordered. Ok can't be long. I eat mine and offer the chips to the 3 others. We take turns going to the bar to stay hydrated. We are now sitting at the table watching footy on our phones waiting unable to get the attention of a staff member. An hour goes past and now there's a sign up saying 45 min wait. The line increases as does the busyness of the staff. Further hydration required (really getting a stack of glasses now)... 1 hour and 50 minutes after placing our order we were able to get attention of a staff member.. we weren't rude or demanding, and keeping in mind the floor staff aren't the ones cooking simply asked what was going on it's almost 2hrs and only one of us got their food. The staff member confirmed what we ordered and then disappeared, another young fella came back and apologised and offered a free garlic bread (4 slices). We turned it down and said we just want our food. 15 minutes later (2hr 5 min after ordering) he returns and offers us a dessert voucher, which we also turned down. 2 hours 20 minutes after ordering their meals arrived with apologies. ( The meals were awsome)

The food was amazing, but we totally missed the footy at the club which is why we went.. (just to watch it on our phones instead). The staff spoken to were polite, but they clearly need more kitchen staff and better processes.. You may ask why would you wait so long, it's not my first time here, and the wait is usually a minimum 40 minutes to an hour, so initially it seemed normal and the food is worth it. My recommendation is if you have a night planned then eat elsewhere first or you may have your...

First visit to the RSL Memorial Club in Dubbo last weekend and I must say first impressions were great. The club seems to have everything there as well as friendly and professional staff. Didn't have a meal there but stayed for a drink after a show. Now for the real reason why I'm writing this post. Attended 2 shows on that weekend at the Dubbo RSL Memorial Club. And thanks to the Club for organising these shows and making them affordable. The show on the Friday night by Country Singer James Blundell was thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately though it was a small crowd but nonetheless he still put on a great show and everyone seemed to enjoy his music and his interaction with the crowd was superb. Well done to the RSL Memorial Club. The next night we went to see the comedian Austen Tayshus, also at the Dubbo Memorial Club. Now I've been to a few Comedy Shows and I sort of know what to expect. I'm certainly no prude and am very open minded but I must say both my Partner and myself were very disappointed with his performance. Very very unprofessional, not funny for most of his show and kept on repeating gags that he previously just done. We were so tempted to walk out but feared he would humiliate us as he had done to people who had previously walked out. I personally think that, as there was only a small audience, he just couldn't be bother. I know comedians poke fun at people and places but the whole show seemed to be about this and he was way over the top. And the way he exited his show was disgusting and disrespectful. Was so glad to see the end of him but expected at least a more graceful departure rather than just suddenly walking off the stage without even acknowledging the audience. I'm grateful we hadn't paid a huge amount of money or travelled a great distance to see him as this was the worst show by far that my Partner and I...
