One 7 Eight — Restaurant in Dubbo

From the time we ordered everything went wrong my husband never got his entre so he asked about it still nothing he asked 3 different staff and not one would help eventually one went out the back and asked and the chef tried to blame someone at the end of the table for eating it when everyone else had there's and there was no one else there they then said we will sort it now but it was to late so he cancelled his order and they offered him 2 free drinks for the inconvenience which the bar staff refused to give him until we complained about that aswel They were laughing at us when they thought we couldn't see them tried to make out we were lieing when my husband was the only one to order a blue steak and the staff had to come out to him and say the chef said he won't do a blue steak so he said rare is fine thanks so I'm not sure how they think he got his meal there were 5 entrees ordered and only 4 came out he sat there the whole time and not one plate got sat in front of him Then we asked if they could notify us when they were bringing the cake out they said we sure can about 20 min later they wait until most of the table is out side then bring the cake out candles lit and just dump it on the table and leave it there I have never seen such rude service in all my life the food that we did receive was nice but extremely small and I mean small nowhere near worth the price they charge I will never go back at all...

This has become the traditional venue for a catchup with friends on my annual return visit to Dubbo. From a starting drink in the cocktail bar ( they have a great cocktail menu), then moving to the very well set out dining room. I was surprised there were so few people dining on Saturday night, it is usually much busier, which worked in our favour. The staff, always efficient and attentive, were like our own almost private dining room. The meals were, as always, delicious from the new autumn menu. The service given by Jo and her staff was amazing and they catered to all of our dining needs. The layout of the restaurant was very well planned out with plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable. Executive head chef Ashim's cooking and food presentation were amazing. I have been to many restaurants and I have to say that it is very rare to see a chef that can get your steak done exactly the way you want it.
