Hing Wah Restaurant — Restaurant in Dubbo

Orders were very slow to come out of the kitchen, ordered sate chicken, sweet &sour pork, salt & pepper squid and fried rice. Pork cane out first after a 10 minute wait, 5 minutes after the chicken dish. 4 minutes after that the fried rice . When we were nearly finished eating the salt & pepper squid dish came out. Not good timing. All food tasted ok. Nothing out of the ordinary and somewhat bland in taste the salt & pepper squid dish however was outstanding/delicious. There was no sauces/condiments provided on the table eg soy sauce, chilli (hot sambal etc). No fountain drinks. No beer. Soft drinks are served in a can. It's a restaurant not a fast...

The food was good, however appalling service by wait staff. We were not greeted upon arrival, just stared at. We had to tell the waitress we wanted to eat in and we ushered into the back corner. The middle dining setting was broken, only being held up by a note pad. The wait for our food was extremely long, considering the lack of patrons. We had an infant with us and we were not once offered a high chair which made it extremely difficult to eat and hold a baby. I would recommend not eating in the restaurant because the wait staff are so appalling in their attitude.The only saving grace...

My colleagues and I were visiting the Dubbo region and had a meal at Hing Wah chinese restaurant last night. The restaurant is centrally located in town with the appearance and decor of a typical chinese restaurant.

The service was good and friendly however that’s where the positives end. The food was particularly disappointing, even not enjoyable.

We selected three mains, a special fried rice and two entrees for $95.

I love my chinese cuisine but I would NOT return to...
