I recently had an extraordinary dining experience at the fantastic Tanoshi Japanese restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the impeccable service and warm hospitality made me feel right at home.

The star of the show was undoubtedly the sushi and sashimi boat. Bursting with freshness and exquisite flavors, each piece was a delight to the taste buds. The chef's skillful presentation added an artistic touch to the already stunning array of delicacies.

Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was also exceptional. Attentive staff members were always ready to assist and provide recommendations, making the entire meal a seamless and enjoyable journey.

In addition to the delightful sushi and sashimi boat, I also had the pleasure of trying some of their other dishes, and I must say they were equally impressive. The attention to detail and commitment to quality truly sets this restaurant apart.

Overall, my experience at this Japanese restaurant was nothing short of remarkable. If you're looking for a place with outstanding food and service, this is...

Tanoshi is by far one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The food always comes out hot and at an above acceptable timeframe even when the restaurant is fully booked. For customers convenience they have a wide range of service options. For dine in, customers can wait to be served by one of the friendly staff or use the QR code on each of the tables. For takeaways, customers can phone order, order in store, or use square online (a digital menu that you select items and pay for online, then personally collect when ready), or have food delivered through UberEats, Menulog or DoorDash. All options I have tried and enjoyed for different occasions. Additionally no food needs to go to waste as Tanoshi offers takeaway containers for a measly .50c each. Traditionally I stick to my comfort foods however Tanoshi has gotten me out of my comfort zone to try new things because each time I have been pleasantly surprised. I always feel welcomed and will continue to...

Stunning sushi from the most charming wait staff & wonderful chefs! I was a walk-in & ordered 2 big platters of sushi at 5:30 pm. They were so lovely & accommodating, I enjoyed a platter of nigiri, bowl of Miso soup & scrumptious seaweed salad while I waited. Despite every, single table filling up while I waited & the restaurant supplying countless takeaway orders - my divine party platters were ready so quickly, looked so beautiful & were melt in your mouth delicious! So fresh! Thank...

Absolutely love Tanoshi. The menu is so plentiful that I find myself returning to try new things very regularly. So far, my personal favourites are the prawn tempura and Salmon teriyaki main/Bento. I don't even like Teriyaki but that salmon teriyaki... de-li-cious. Definitely recommend coming to tanoshi to try some of their food. It's been my new favourite place to go to for the past three months yet I STILL have new things I look forward to trying from their menu. There's just that many options.

Came for dinner, visited from the coast. Pros 1. Some of the best Japanese food we have had, and for a great price point. 2. Great serving size. Come here hungry. 3. Rapid meal prep. 4. Plenty of seats, from 2 seat tables to 6 seats. Cons 1. Not closer to the coast. 2. Service can be a bit slow because of one staff member, but not in a experience-breaking way. The cooking staff bring food out too. TLDR: Great Japanese food in Dubbo.

Full marks in all aspects. We came in a sudden and have no time to book. The super friendly staff tried very hard to get us a table. Fully appreciated. Surprised with all dishes, especially the ramen. Their food is compatible to the standard of those famous Japanese restaurants in Sydney CBD. You should not miss it when you visit Dubbo. We were half full as we ate all along the road trip, but we were able to clear all on desk.
