Walked around in Dubbo and found this sushi train restaurant with a group of friends and decided to give it a try.
The sushi here was average and a bit overpriced for different plates (but understandable in a rural area), some sushi tasted really fresh and some tasted like the sushi has been sitting there for quite sometime (especially the chicken katsu sushi and anything that was fried). The panko of the katsu became stale and was hard to eat. But it’s understandable considering it’s a sushi train.

I find that lately they have tended to switch their dishes to a more "western" taste (ie more mayonnaise, less sashimi) but you can order what you want from the kitchen in the middle and they have some traditional choices on the train anyways, so the best of both worlds and maybe a better choice commercially for them.
Overall definitely...
