Ha Noi Corner — Restaurant in Dubbo

I was keen to try this place on a recent trip to Dubbo - the vegetarian dishes were separated on their menu and had quite a few good choices. I ordered two vegetarian vermicelli noodle salads. The order must have been taken down incorrectly because we received two pork noodle salad - no big deal as these things happen - we asked for the correct order and reiterated that we are vegetarians and don't eat meat. The dishes were taken away and we were brought "new" ones a few minutes later - obviously someone had just scooped the pork out of the original dish but done a poor job as there were multiple chucks of meat and fat in both "vegetarian" salads. We were in a rush and didn't want to waste food so we ate around them but it really wasn't acceptable and people with food allergies or intolerances should definitely be careful...

Ha Noi Conner is our go-to restaurant almost every weekend. Since cooking on weekdays takes up so much time and work can be exhausting, we really enjoy treating ourselves on weekends by letting the professionals take care of us. We’re truly grateful that they always serve us such delicious food. The owner is warm and welcoming — on our very last day in Dubbo, he even treated us to a meal, which made us feel incredibly happy.

Never thought I'd actually see this but the cleanliness of this place definitely needs some work. We were in a rush and ordered chicken fried rice and dry chicken noodles. The fried rice was tasteless and really difficult to consume. We had to take away in the end as we were pressed for time. The whole time, there were many flies flying around. We managed to squish a couple but more showed up. We didn't think it'll affect the food. But when opened the takeaway fried rice to make another attempt to consume the next day, I found a fried fly in the fried rice!

My son and husband ended up having stomach and bowel issues but I was fine as I ate the chicken noddle. This is really disappointing as I used to enjoy the foods there. Never going back...
