McDonald's — Restaurant in Echuca

As far as staff visibly abiding by Covid safe protocols... I think this place has done the best out of all the dining places I've been. All of them.

All visible staff were correctly wearing face masks, and had fitted them across their noses. Those doing cleaning were noted to be putting on clean gloves and discarding when necessary. One of the juniors needs to mind touching their mask with the dirty glove though, as they touched the mask later with an ostensibly clean hand. 😬

Either way, for a bunch of youths who aren't trained healthcare workers, incredibly good efforts, which speaks volumes about the training and management. All staff involved with unbagged food were wearing hats as well.

Now, on to the actual food. 😂 Coffees were very fast, and McCafe food was presented at the same time, still hot enough for the butter to melt, so +1 for good timing there. Regular food took a bit longer, but that says more about how fast McCafe was vs McDonald's. Breakfast burger was assembled reasonably well - you cannot expect the egg from a regular McMuffin to stay in the center on a quarter pounder burger, but everything else was lined up well enough (cheese was dead on). Taste was consistent with what I expect out of the golden arches.

Facilities in general were clean and orderly.

I'm honestly really impressed, and the staff, managers, and owner(s) should be proud at performing at this level during this crazy season in...

We did some shopping in Echuca today then decided to call In to McDonald's for tea. ordered 24 nuggets a big chips and an apple pie then added a mbig Mac meal deal and icecream in a cone. .A little girl who couldn't see over the counter served us. she stuffed up the order and made the meal chips a large one instead of a medium chips. and there should have been a big chips. but no medium chips. went to counter to discuss the issue and was mer by an older woman who was quite rude ,treated me like an idiot wouldn't listen to me order nos was 134 and 142. we went and paid for. another large chips on order 142. served. by thel rude older lady. I will never recommend this macas - staff were rude stuffed up the order and chips were cold - mybig Mac burger was so a wash with sauce ,so much so I nearly lost the inards of the burger meat and all. Unfortunately The manager of the store knows her stuff , dam shame the s staff are so useless with customer service . I expected more from the senior lady but no just rudeness and caught up in her own little world. My advice to other customers "DONT WASTE YOUR TIME at this store I know...

Absolutely disgusting service , or lack of by the manager today. Shouldn't be in a management position if you lack customer service, manners and have no clue how to deal with conflict that arises. After waiting 25 minutes in drive thru, we then waited at the window to pay.... for another 5 minutes.... while the girl at the window stared at us and when we held card up to " pay by inserting card" she still stood there. Eventually opening the window. After telling the girl to have some customer service and perhaps speak or smile she shut the window. We then waited another 5 minutes at pay window and seen our ice cream already sitting melting... we'd ordered 20 minutes earlier.. waiting with everyone else in the line. The manger then come to the window to tell us she was not serving us as we'd spoken to her worker inappropriately- not the case. After it was explained she then stood there with nothing to say, but her worker was "disabled ". As a person who works with disabled people I'll tell you now her worker wasn't the problem here. Neither was her disability. poor management and unprofessionalism...
