JK Thai — Restaurant in Evans Head

Had one of the best takeaway Thai meals we've ever had from JK Thai last night. Conveniently located almost next door to the caravan park where we were staying. We had the Barramundi Pad Prik and Padang curry with chicken, and some jasmine rice - truly excellent flavours, just the right amount of heat, and we had to force ourselves to leave some for lunch today. Which we enjoyed just as much! If we weren't already 300km South, we'd go back for some more tonight - the pork belly looked enticing. Highly recommended! Just finished eating at JK Thai, the new Thai place here in Evans. The service, including the friendliness of the owner was amazing. We were waited on and they made us feel very welcome. The food came out quickly we orderd stir fry beef and green chicken curry. All really fresh ingredients and very tastey food. The curry was perfectly spiced. It was so awesome to be able to eat Thai locally while supporting our community. Everyone should come and support this place as it is very good value for money...

Tried this restaurant for the first time this week. I ordered as a takeaway but changed my mind and ate in as it looked nice. Food came out promptly and was delicious - had chicken satay with coconut rice. The rice was awesome - covered in coconut cream and black sesame seeds. Was impressed with the large serving, and was able to take half home for another meal. Really nice food and service,...
