Customer service was rude.....asked about the price of the coffee $4.80 reg +70 for caramel shot + public holiday charge of 90c = $6.40 NO DISPLAY ON COUNTER FOR PULIC HOL CHARGE When i questioned this owner was rude and said if you dont like the charge dont drink coffee. Stop giving money to these parasites business owners ripping Australians on the public holidays BTW THEY HAVE CHANGE THE NAME ON THIS SITE TO BOTELO CAFE

We absolutely love dropping in to vespa's when we are in town. I am a long black drinker and my personal favourite thing about this awesome cafe is that they actually charge you less for a long black!!!! The don't care how long you stay and they are super awesome! My fave coffee shop in all of Evans!

Great for a quick drink (or a slow one if you prefer) and a bite to eat . Try the breakfast deal of lots of bacon and egg on Turkish roll with a hot drink for $14.. yummo. Quick, efficient friendly staff. Forgot to take a food photo, but an empty plate still tells a story.

Arrived with an hour up my sleeve between appointments so I was looking for somewhere to have a decent lunch. The reviews were pretty good so I took a punt. On entering 3 staff were talking amongst themselves. No-one acknowledged me. I waited to find out if I was meant to order at the counter or be seated. Eventually I interrupted the conversation to ask. Was told to grab a menu and someone would be with me.

I decided what I'd have and waited. I looked around to gain attention, nothing. Waited 5 minutes, looked around again, still nothing. Lots of chitchat still going on with staff. If it were extraordinary busy, I'd understand the wait, but I was one of three occupied tables.

Waited 15 minutes. Got up and left without ordering.

The prime location is the only thing it had...

A Friday lunch outing gone sour. Arrived to order our meals by 12.40 p.m. only to be told they close at 1.00 p.m.. Who closes at 1.00 p.m.??? No juices because the juicer was already turned off!! No apology for that. No coffee order because that had been turned off too. A VERY limited menu. Fish horribly over-cooked in the Fisherman's Basket - and it was a very small serving. No attempt made by staff to clear away our plates - until we ceremoniously dumped them on a neighbouring table. Is it any wonder they were empty apart from us and only one other couple? A great example...

Great location and place to sit, I have a few issues though, there is no customer service, you have to order your own food at the counter and get your own water, feels like a bistro not a 5 star Cafe. This stuff would be OK if it wasn't priced so high. Waited ages for our food and it wasn't even busy. They need to research barista style almond milk for coffee as it tasted bitter , poached eggs were almost raw. I think if these guys want to be amazing, they need to...
