Evans Head Main Beach — Attraction in Evans Head

The beach is great. 4x4 track very soft. A young guy got stuck his first time on the beach. He spent 2 hours stuck with toe rags driving past and leaving him there. That is not 4x4 etiquite. A young electrician and his girlfriend (snaps to you two) and I put our snatch straps and winch together and hauled him out. If you take a 4x4 off road we have all been bogged at some stage, the unwritten law is stop and help. Evans Head Main Beach is a beautiful location. We stopped in on our way south for lunch and a swim - it didn't disappoint. I think the storms to the North made it all the more beautiful. Surf lifesavers are on the beach, so there were flags to swim between and guards on duty...
