Riverfront Kiosk Evans Head — Restaurant in Evans Head

Ordered a seafood basket. Sign said "alamari, prawn cocktail, seafood sticks, scollop with chips". Didn't get seafood stick, or scallop. Calamari and prawn cocktails were burnt. Served with chicken salt without asking for it.

Asked for the missing items, and the burnt items to be redone and they said "there aren't any scallops in the seafood basket." Went to the kitchen for confirmation and she brought back a plastic bag of pre-packed seafood without scallops, and seafood sticks and said "this is what you get in a bag. The sign shouldn't say scallops". The girl declined remaking it and said "we put chicken salt on the food unless you requested otherwise when ordering."

False advertising. Who goes to a fishing town and expects Chinese Coles' brand pre-packed seafood? Especially at the price it was....

Bought coffee previously 3 shots each ....tasted like warm milk.Gave them benefit of the doubt next evening for dinner and was bitterly disappointed. Arrived 5.45pm to all shutters being at least half closed,upon enquiry told it was to stop the wind (there was no wind,we were camped not 50 metres away),so we were served under a half open shutter. Classic hamburger was on a stale untoasted bun with a pre-made supermarket pattie, food arrived cold as was left whilst they served coffee to others, then forgot the chips so had to wait for them as dinner became colder. Poor service,poor food and poor organisation. Suggest anywhere but here for...

Staff are all very quite and young, can hardly hear them when they speak, not a clue between them, terrible service. I have now been waiting 30min for food....it it not overly busy only 4 tables being used and all have food so have no idea what is taking ours so long, I went up and asked and was told "your food is half way being done" okay cool...what does that mean?? How much longer will it be...the response "I don't know" absolute joke...will never be back and I highly recommend you spend your money elsewhere!!! I'll also quickly add, 2 staff members are currently standing there doing absolutely nothing, so they definitely...
