Service was quick.. young crew on board..we just beat the crowd...so..fish and chips for 2.+ potato scallops. Fish itself was nice, but had to pull the dark batter off to get to it.. Chips were..eatable..just..no salt on anything (lucky we had our own)and 2 of the 4 potato scallops were undercooked.(different batches..who knows) We read the reviews..positives and negatives..unfortunately not impressed..looked like elderly locals didn't mind the food. I have a feeling that all food maybe precooked.the given a quick dip to reheat..justifying the very quick service 🤔🤔 Sorry guys...won't be recommending you. Take all the negative comments to heart.follow their guide ,brush up on cooking skills ( time to change the oil too)..sit down and eat what you cook...review your selves..honestly. Good luck guys.👍

And i beg to differ that there were condiments on the 'orders ready table).usually we are asked if we want salt...anyways. Review was honest...your reply sounded like you were not happy with my review..not once did you accept the criticism positively...just excuses for poor food quality that we and obviously MANY others have experienced. Read moreI was the only customer at end of the night, and advised of a 20 minute wait. My order of 1 fish and chips took about 45 minutes. I asked how long it would be and the young female staff member snapped at me as though I'd done something wrong for politely asking where my meal was. It wasn't busy and no other tickets waiting. The food was garbage, overcooked/dry and overpriced for the poor servive and quality. In all my years as a restaurant owner and chef, I've never seen such poor service and rude behaviour toward a customer. I don't expect an excuse, only an apology.
It would appear that you don't take kindly to honest reviews and make up nonsense excuses and lie that you were busy with other orders when you actually weren't. In any case, if you were so busy and you knew you were, why not tell the customer that the order will take 45 minutes rather than lie and say 20 minutes. That proves your response is a lie. And your oily tasting overcooked food needs the honest feedback to help you improve your quality. Put your big boy pants on, cop it on the chin, and improve from honest feedback and stop attempting to justify your mistakes...

Kids fish and chips come out and I broke it in half for my daughter to find out it was frozen yes frozen in the middle young girl was happy to get cook to remake but when they come back out she told us they cooked extra bit to make sure they are cooked they were black they were burnt anyway we took the chips to the car where I was wondering the smell it was the chips they or the oil was off since eaten there tonight both wife and myself have massive gut pain This was not the girls fault it's the cooks This place needs a inspection Avoid the gut problems and go to maccs
