Twice I have tried here, and twice it has been appalling service. The first time, after a long wait in the drive though and placing my order, the staff member at the payment window had some issues with their codes but instead of politely explaining, they stood there for minutes without saying anything. When I said "hello, are you still serving me?", they just looked at me then walked off into the store. Two more staff came to heel them, but still no one spoke to me. At the end of all that, approximately 4-5 minutes later, they finally asked for payment. They hadn't processed my coffee code and I asked them to, and they said "sorry we can't do that for some reason." I was frustrated as if they'd said that at the start, I would have left immediately and saved all the waiting. Deciding to give them another go, I just visited and ordered a coffee. The staff member at the payment window didn't say anything, simply moved their arm out the window with the payment thingy, then turned away. In the 10s it took me to drive forward to the collection window my coffee was already waiting. However, to my great dismay, I discovered as I drove forward that it was cold. I'd had enough so went inside and asked for a refund. They gave one without asking any questions, but didn't offer to give me a hot one instead. Nor an apology. I've never had a cold coffee from Maccas, nor had one made in 10s. I can only think they thought they'd get away with giving me someone else's...
Read moreThis is the second occasion I have visited with the same sort of service. I ordered for myself and my partner from the touchscreen, took a photo of the order number on the screen as no McDonald's has the receipt printer working ever. Ordered for my parents then sat down. My parents order was ready after some time but the order for my partner and I was taking a while, we were the only people seated and there were no more than two other people that walked in at any one time (their orders were equally slow). I got up and asked at the counter a couple of times and they said it was still on its way. After 45 minutes I went to ask and they said they never had the order (I even showed them the photo of the touchscreen from earlier) I did manage to get a refund only after I described what the order was and they were then able to find it. We had spent an hour here at this point in time. The first time I was here it took a long time but I did get my food. But this is two for two...

The one complaint I have was the bloke who gave me my food didn’t say a word, no thank you, no have a good day, just pure deafening silence you would get when you and ya brother break ya Dad’s car window and look at each other not knowing what to do or who will die first. Also no straws, when my darling mother asks for the missing straws this man basically threw the 2 straws at her head, again saying nothing. Drove off and realised no napkins either. As a regular I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life. I’m sorry I can’t identify this server but I have to assume this is not a new thing when it comes to this worker, if so I would have to assume this will be investigated as for this to happen in such a developed area and developed McDonalds with future plans of expansion is an outrage in the community.
