Burleigh Town tavern — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

So wish there was a minus star or a sad/angry emoji. So was supposed to go to a function at the tavern tonight - went there in the afternoon to drop a wishing well in, advised yeah you’ve got that whole area over there. The tables were all set up with the hostess’s name and 6pm. Hostess gets there early to set up decorations etc and it appears they had ‘overbooked’. Don’t understand how you can go from you have this big space and now there is not enough room for all the guests invited. It was very lucky that the hostess’s daughter lived not far so we could change the venue. And if it was a one off maybe but this is the second time this has happened in 6 months!!!. Will not being going back or organising any...

As a local, I won't be visiting this woke venue in the future, after hearing they don't support Australia Day. The owners obviously didn't hear that the vast majority of Australians voted against the "Yes" referendum. When will large corporations stop pandering...
