Disgusting. AVOID. Probably THE worst tavern food I’ve had on the GC (and I’ve been to many). Turned me off chicken schnitzel it was that bad. The service was friendly, but the place inside is so small and you’re literally in eaves dropping distance to hear someone’s conversation with the table seating arrangements. Um no, not feeling the ambience. We ordered the Parmi, Schnitty and two kids meals, the calamari for starters and the garlic bread with cheese and it was around $120 (overcharged). The Parmi had a frozen chip amongst the cooked ones - FAIL. The chicken for both schnitty and Parmi is like a fake processed chicken (as well as the kids chicken nuggets) and looks like it was bought from Coles. The Salad was the most saddest thing I’ve ever seen and tasted disgusting (OLD lettuce leaves 🤢). They got our order wrong and overcharged us, but I politely corrected the order on arrival of the food and they gave me a refund. Honestly THE worst schnitzel I’ve ever tasted probs in my life lol as in bought from a bistro. The food is not made with love and the prices are ridiculous for small little plate of calamari ($16?!) for a handful - rip off. Service is quite good, but the food is not great, don’t recommend at all.

I have always loved going to the Coomera Tavern. Food is fantastic and the atmosphere WAS friendly and vibrant. I say was... Because last night I took the family in for dinner. No menu, no friendly waiter/waitress. Just scan the Q code on the table number, order your meals and drinks from the digital menu and pay for it. No need to leave the table to even pay for it. Yes, it's convenient, but removes all the friendly atmosphere and I didn't enjoy it one bit. I've been in there in the past with large groups and one of us would pay for it all. What are we suppose to do? Pass the mobile phone around for each person to select what they want? My partner has a disability and has difficulty with comprehension. It's much easier for her to have a real menu that she can view and take her time to select. Sorry, but if this is the future of dining out, then I may as well order uber eats and dine at home.

Lovely area, great tavern. Staff were really friendly. Seniors meal $10 + $3 for dessert. Unfortunately the dessert was pavlova which is all sugar and deathly to diabetics. We can have GF everywhere but we can't seem to have diabetic dessert. One option would be diabetic jelly and custard made without sugar, not fruit salad which is high in fructose. I asked for no salad with my FnC but when I saw it wasn't all weeds and Lucerne, I could have kicked myself. Everyone loved their food. The homemade tartare sauce was the best I have ever had; had a bit if a bite to it, not just all mayonnaise and cream. Look forward to returning. Many thanks Coomera Tavern!

Sometimes, the best experiences are the ones that go above and beyond. And that's exactly what I encountered at Coomera Tavern recently, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Robyn. I just had to leave a short 5-star review to express my gratitude. From the moment I walked in, Robyn's warm and welcoming demeanour instantly made me feel comfortable. Not only was she incredibly attentive, but she genuinely seemed to care about ensuring I had a positive dining experience. She was efficient, friendly, and always ready with a smile. It's rare to find such dedicated and personable service in a busy establishment, and it truly made a difference.

But the experience wasn't just about the service. The food at Coomera Tavern was also fantastic. The meals were cooked to perfection, the portions generous, and the flavors delicious. It's clear that the kitchen staff take pride in their work, and the quality of the food is a testament to their dedication.

However, Robyn's exceptional customer service elevated the entire visit. Her attentiveness, kindness, and genuine care were truly remarkable. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed and that my experience was as enjoyable as possible. For anyone planning a visit to Coomera Tavern, I highly recommend seeking out Robyn. Her dedication to providing excellent customer service, combined with the great food on offer, makes for an unforgettable experience. It's staff like Robyn that truly make a difference and keep customers coming back for more. So, thank you Robyn, and thank you Coomera Tavern, for a wonderful dining experience. I'll...

After years of spending money in this venue l was treated disgusting as a patron today when l went to order a steak from the sports bar it has always been cheaper than sitting in the restaurant after all your surrounded by gambling why would anyone be expected to pay full price ….l was rudely and abruptly treated by so called staff members who contradicted me twice in front of all the other patrons in sports bar and even involved the chef when apparently no duty manager was present after 26yrs of working security and pubs and clubs l apparently was lying about the price of their sports bar menu and that l had made it up🤔🤔🤔🤔we had just dined in the sports bar two nights ago and still paid $19 with my Monty’s card not to mention the thousands of dollars spent in pokies and food over the years We will never spend a cent in this venue again No people skills, and was blatantly refused service for questioning what l was ordering which was an abuse of my right to order what l had already asked the first staff member for?we have been ordering this menu for years . Most of the time food is not up to standard mash potato small serving and steaks not always up to scratch but we still order from them but after reading other patrons experiences lm not surprised. What happened to the customer is always right???? Seems to me too many chiefs not enough Indians In all my years working in hospitality as a younger woman we would never contradict or speak to the customers the way these two girls did … Coomera tavern has gone to the pack bring back the older staff before...

Thoroughly disappointed Coomera Tav,

after leaving my high school aged son in the bistro for 2 minutes I was confronted by staff (in front of other patrons) telling me that I was not permitted to leave children unsupervised in a licenced venue. I can not tell you how mortifying that was , but after I apologised and asked how old children have to be to be left unsupervised for short periods of time (making sure everyone knew I hadn't in fact left a young child, but a teenager and assuming there was some misunderstanding as to his age because of my knowledge of legislation in that area) I was informed that the answer was never under the age of 18... Which we both know is not true because it is common place for staff to be under the age of 18 in dining and bistro areas providing the licenced venue isn't an adult entertainment venue.

Then after politely returning to my table embarrassed , I was informed that I would have to wait for food to be re-cooked because it had been burnt and the pizza base was so hard in sections that I actually choked on it (no, I am not kidding).

This unfortunately will be a last for me, I was hoping with the new changes there would be an improvement but the food and service just isn't there and hasn't been for a long time.

At least the staff are friendly, but that's all I can say that's positive...
