Kaffe Co — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Kaffe Co is a small but bustling cafe just outside of Coles. They offer your standard cafe options at good prices. Although there was nothing outstanding for us, it would be a reliable and nice Saturday breakfast visit.

Kaffe Co's space is small with limited seating inside. If you're visiting during a busy rush, you can expect to sit outside. There was nothing memorable about the decor or servingware, and there was no music either. For these reasons, we gave a lower score.

We ordered an eggs Benedict with salmon, and a sausages and eggs. For drinks, we ordered a fresh start juice and an iced coffee.

The eggs Benedict was fantastic and a great portion. The salmon was fresh, the eggs were cooked perfectly and everything was flavourful.

The eggs and sausages were okay. We chose scrambled eggs, which were cooked well, however the sausages were small chicken sausages. These were good however not specified. The bread was white with no alternative for wholemeal, and it came pre-buttered which was a con for me.

The juice was pleasant. The iced coffee was enjoyable and they had lactose free milk for only 50c extra. It came with ice cream and cream. The coffee was merlot which is always a win.

For everything we paid $38. We found this to be great value for the portion sizes. For a couple you could expect to pay between $30-$50.

When we visited it was the breakfast rush. Our meal was perfectly served, and it came out so quickly as well.

Great cafe with both extraordinary food and coffee. Every Sunday I come in for a Flat White and Big Breaky and its the best duo ive ever had. The barista is crazy on that machine showing her passion and joy for her job. The lady taking the orders for everyone is such a nice women making incredible juices and milkshakes "mm.... so yummy". The two boys taking the food and coffees out are also great boys and always seem to be on task like doing dishes, cleaning and clearing tables and much more. And last but not least both the chefs out the back. They are incredible at cooking I dont even know how they do it. I would be sweating like a bunch of cats at a greyhound meeting. Very average coffee unlike in the photo Salmon eggs Benedict did not have fresh salmon even though covered in cheap hollandaise sauce like at supermarket the salmon was even grey in parts Service was shocking even though plenty of tables free though many with crockery still there on dirty tables They looked understaffed by one as I had to wait ages at the counter for some to turn round and serve me Coffee took over ten minutes to come and not with the meal That was nearly 15 minutes after by which I had well funny coffee the staff although very busy had little by way of good banter with the customers Merely ask On my way!
