Tried Curry Express last night! I am from Singapore and we have lots of authentic Indian food in Singapore and I dare say, Curry express is definitely on spot with the flavour! It's soooooo good that their Curry probably beat some restaurants in Singapore! The Curry is labelled to the spiciness and we tried the medium hot mutton and very hot beef and they are true to its label. So if you can't take spicy, do take the mild label. We ordered for 2, that comes with 2 choice of Curry, 2 humongous naans (taste so good with the curry) that will definitely fill you full and if it doesn't, it also comes with some rice! The portions is generous and definitely worth the money! The owners are friendly and super nice! We also had the mango lassi.. but we find it very sweet for our taste. But knowing Indians by culture love sweetness, and so it's probably to their liking.

Must try for all Malaysian or Singaporeans who missed their Indian curry cravings in Australia! This place is not to be missed! By the way is located right opposite the harbourtown factory outlet. So if you are there for shopping, can just pop in for a meal. It's free parking for 3 hours and plenty available in front. As for the ambience, it's clean and lots of tables available. Noticed most ppl had takeaways and we were one of them.

You will not be disappointed with the food! ITS A++++++++. SUPER TASTY.. They are authentic Indian cuisine! And we are returning on Good Fri for our 2nd craving for Indian food! This is definitely...

We had a wonderful experience in this restaurant. We went in for dinner with family and friends and the service was wonderful. The staff were extremely friendly (we had a toddler with us who they treated like a princess) and we really felt as though they were eager to please. The atmosphere was beautiful, right by the water, so was the table set-up, they even had some couches that we lounged on at the end of our dinner while we ate our dessert.

As for the dinner itself, it was literally the best Indian food I've ever eaten, I felt as though I was really eating an authentic home-cooked dinner, the ingredients were fresh and absolutely DELICIOUS. We ordered the goat curry and another curry with spinach (I'm sorry I can't remember what it was called), but the highlight of the dinner was the naan bread. We ordered three more on top of the two we originally ordered, it was just so amazing. We were so pleased with the service and the food that we had to let the staff know and the manager herself actually came out and offered us all some complimentary masala tea and some fennel seeds.

Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the experience, this is not just like all the other Indian franchises, the food is real, the people are real, and we were REALLY pleased. Definitely plan on visiting this restaurant again many more times with the...

Update: We've been back a few more times for take-out since my last review and it's been great. Super friendly staff/owner. My husband loves the hot & spicy vindaloo, says it's his favorite, he also really likes the madras and butter chicken.

My favorites are the beef madras, chicken tikka masala and the roganjosh. We also love their garlic cheese naan. And I love their mango lassi.

Convenient for a quick take-out dinner and they have good deals like the 2 curry and rice meal with raita and pappadum. We'll be back for more.

5 weeks ago: Tasty curries for a quick and casual week night dinner. Although I found the vindaloo to be too salty for my taste, and not as good as I've had at other restaurants. We liked the chicken tikka masala and roganjosh, next time we will try some other curries too like korma and madras. We also liked the cheesy garlic naan and mango lassi. We just recently moved to the area and have bought their curries a couple of times now, and the thali special is a good deal, but when I get a meal to-go they seem to forget either the raita or the pappadum which is supposed to come with the meal, thats happened twice, and by the time I notice I've already made my way home. So next time I will check and make sure...

Negative Review for CURRY EXPRESS Biggera Waters At 1:46 PM on September 8, 2025, I spent 23.9 Australian dollars at CURRY EXPRESS Biggera Waters to buy two takeaway curries of different flavors and took them home. However, the dining experience was extremely poor. In one so-called "beef" curry, there were only two pieces of "meat" in total—one was a bone, and the other was fat. The other curry only had three pieces of "meat", one of which was also a bone, and only two were real meat. I have dined at this restaurant before, and the experience was far better than this time. This time, an elderly grandmother was in charge of preparing the food. The quantity and quality of the ingredients have shrunk drastically, making me really doubt if the restaurant has changed owners. I will definitely never come to CURRY EXPRESS Biggera Waters again. So far, it is by far the worst restaurant in this area—bar none!
