Dawn 2 Dusk Cafe — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

The only reason this place is in business is its convenient location. The service was slow, but not terrible and they were friendly. The food was an absolute joke!! My friends parmy came out with the ham underneath the chicken and melted cheese??? Anyone who has been to a pub knows its chicken, ham, cheese?? The open vego melt I had was ridiculous the pesto was in a giant blob on the top of everything else instead of on the bread and the apparent balsamic dressing was just slithered on the bottom of the plate underneath the bread to the point i couldnt have even picked up the sandwich if i wanted to. It's like their cook or chef had called in sick and they had just asked one of the waitstaff to fill in it was such a poor job!! If you want a drink your safe but don't bother ordering the over priced...

Very disappointed at this Cafe, ordered sweet potatoes chips and took forever to come, I nearly finished my meal and my husband's meal came 15 minutes later with the sweet potato chips which were burnt. We asked the waiter and we told him that the chips are burnt and they tasted awful. He apologised and he said that the cooking oil needed changing. When the second bowl arrived, It was even worst then the first which were soaked with oil and rubbery. The owner was called over, and he apologised saying they were not the regular chips he buy, and then I said to him, that they shouldn't be serving them. He then said "I din't know". So I won't serve them again. And he left not even offering refund on the chips. How can they run a successful business if they treat their customers like this. We won't...

Popped in to the cafe to grab a quick brunch in between shopping.

Great looking menu covering snacks lunches and breakfasts which is served all day. Very well priced.

Ordered a sandwich in the front counter to be toasted and my friend ordered a burger.

Burger came out very quickly however I waited another 20 minutes for my toasted sandwich only to receive it and it be the wrong one.

Organised a replacement then had to wait another 10 minutes for the sandwich to be toasted, and by then my gf had finished her meal.

Replacement sandwich was not enjoyable although my friend said her burger...
