An Absolute Masterclass in Hospitality: Oh My Greek Kitchen and Bar Oh My Greek Kitchen and Bar doesn't just serve delicious food; it delivers a five-star experience built on exceptional hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming, and we were fortunate to be looked after by Emily, whose service was truly above and beyond. We initially requested a table outside, but found the music slightly loud. Before we could even think about moving, Emily immediately offered to turn it down—a small but significant gesture that showed her dedication to our comfort. Throughout the sitting, Emily was polite, accommodating, and incredibly attentive. After settling in, we were given ample time to peruse the menu. When it came time to order, Emily was efficient, and we greatly appreciated her professionalism when she read the entire order back to us, ensuring every item was correct—a simple step that speaks volumes about her attention to detail. The food itself was fantastic—fresh, tasty, and authentically delicious (albeit slightly small portions for the $). We started with the trio of dips, which were bright and flavorful. It was during this course that Emily shined again; noticing our dips remained but the flatbread had run out, she instantly offered to bring more bread without us having to ask. This kind of proactive, anticipatory service is rare and made us feel truly cared for. For mains, we shared three generous souvlakia portions between four, and there wasn't a single complaint—everything was cooked perfectly. Following Emily’s recommendation, we finished the meal with the sticky pudding. It was a recommendation we won't soon forget! The pudding was delightfully sweet and sticky, and the combination of the warm caramel sauce and melting ice cream was absolutely on point. The great food, coupled with the lovely atmosphere and Emily’s outstanding attentiveness, guarantees our return. A huge thank you to Emily for being such a pleasant and polite server and making our lunch...
Read moreWe have been there twice in the last 5 weeks. First time it was packed on a Friday night. Last night - also a Friday- was very quiet. The food itself is lovely but very expensive for the portion size - $17 for just one piece of bruschetta is overkill. The souvlaki is excellent but we found this time that there was less meat and rather than large chunks of the delicious lamb as we had the first time, they now slice it into thinner pieces. The chips, pita and dip were yummy. Sadly while the staff are lovely and friendly, most of them very young and inexperienced and were wandering around not really knowing how to wait on clients. One was wiping down our table as we were sitting. The food took ages to come out- despite not being busy…. with only a few tables occupied. We tried the trio of dips first time here and found them bland and unseasoned so decided not to have them again. On a side note salt and pepper shakers should be on every table. You have to ask for it. We had the lamb souvlaki which is divine. The mushroom entree was disappointing with only 5 tiny mushrooms for $14.90 and not particularly flavourful . The prawn dish was a nice surprise with very large prawns- but came with no side. A few chips would have added to the meal for $32.00 On a plus my nephew had the side of chips as an entree at $9.00 and it was huge- so he was happy. Overall, the food is really good but over priced. Will we go...
Read moreIt's not often that you find a restaurant that can accommodate and execute a perfect meal for 14+ people, it's even more rare when you find a new restaurant that achieves this and goes above and beyond for a party this size. From preordering snacks for the table, to not missing anyone's drink, the team at oh my greek smashed it out the park. The gentleman who I am assuming is the owner was so attentive and friendly, but not overbearing, and the wait staff provided a service that had me scratching my head wondering when last, or if ever I've had service that great. Let's get onto the food, it is incredible, every dish from warm olives to the amazing ravioli, the meatball dish and the incredible fig and cheese entree was amazing, perfectly balanced. The dessert was the perfect level of sweetness, when coupled with the delicious Greek coffee (if you're a fan of Greek/Turkish this is where it's at). Decor is beautiful I feel like I could go in with a bowl of lemons and feel like I've been transported to my dream greek holiday. All in all, it was the best restaurant experience I've had in a long time, if ever and we're already planning our next visit. For a new restaurant these guys have their game plan and deliver the best food, with the best service.
