Domino's Pizza Ormeau — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Many hit's and misses. This Friday night (22 March 2024) was okay. Food took a little while longer than suggested by the app but it was all correct. Slightly pissed at it being $4 for a single 500ml Sunkist though. Really?

On other occasions we've had spicy stuff put on a Hawaiian Pizza that burned my grandmothers mouth. They gave us a code for a free Hawaiian next time... except it didn't work when I tried to add it online. And when I called up about it to the store, I had to debate the point with the manager to get them to honour it.

And their supposed coupons? They just tell you the price. There aren't any discounts to it. There all like "XYZ for $$$." On several occasions I've gone to use the pizza & side coupons, and at the end it'll say your coupon was not applied because the price is cheaper. And then when I go back to edit, to pick a special expensive side for once, the price...

We ordered our food well over an hour ago with priority. Our food tracker said it had been delivered when it hadn’t been so I called the store and his advice was just to wait a few minutes more as the tracker is sometimes delayed. I waited another half an hour. I tried calling and was out on hold for about 5 minutes. They finally answered but no one spoke to me, it’s like they just picked up the phone and placed it down. So I called again. A girl answered didn’t even say hello and said ‘this is for the missing pizzas right? We’ve been really busy tonight and your order got lost somehow’ I seriously had to laugh. The way she spoke she clearly didn’t care. Props for remaking me food right now and sending it back out and refunding me my priority money after I had to ask for it. I’m even getting it in coins 🤣

I wonder how long this one will take and if it’ll get...

Last night we had some visitors over for dinner. We placed a delivery order with Dominoes Ormeau at 5:30pm. At 7pm our order had still not been delivered. I called to find out when our order was being delivered. I was told that our order would be remade and delivered within 20min. 25 minutes later I rang again as we still had not received our order. At this stage our guests need to leave. I rang back and was told that our delivery had been delivered twice. The manager never spoke with me, I spoke with a lovely young lady that was very apologetic and polite. Our delivery got to us at 7:45pm. The driver said he had the wrong address. I am so embarrassed that our guests left without having any dinner and my three young children had to wait until 7:45pm...
