Culinary Delight at Dosa Hut - A Flavorful Journey in Gold Coast! Dosa Hut in Gold Coast proved to be a gastronomic haven, offering a delectable array of South Indian and Indo-Chinese delights. Our culinary adventure included the Chicken Biryani, Lamb Biryani, Chicken 65, Veg Manchurian, and Pani Puri, each dish leaving an indelible mark on our taste buds. The Chicken Biryani was a masterpiece of flavors and textures. Fragrant basmati rice, perfectly cooked chicken, and a symphony of spices created a dish that was both aromatic and satisfying. The Lamb Biryani, equally impressive, showcased the chef's mastery in balancing spices and tenderizing the meat to perfection. The Chicken 65 was a highlight of our meal, with succulent chicken pieces coated in a flavorful blend of spices and herbs. The crispy exterior gave way to juicy, well-marinated chicken, making it an irresistible appetizer. The Veg Manchurian was a delightful nod to Indo-Chinese cuisine. The vegetable dumplings were perfectly fried and bathed in a savory, tangy sauce, offering a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. The Pani Puri was a burst of flavor in every bite. The crispy puris, filled with a tangy and spicy mixture, provided a refreshing and authentic street food experience. Each bite transported us to the lively streets of India. The ambiance of Dosa Hut added to the overall dining experience. The restaurant exuded a warm and inviting atmosphere, with attentive staff providing excellent service. The presentation of the dishes was appealing, showcasing the attention to detail in both preparation and serving. In conclusion, Dosa Hut in Gold Coast is a culinary gem that deserves recognition. The diverse menu, impeccable execution of dishes, and welcoming atmosphere make it a must-visit for food enthusiasts. Whether you're a fan of South Indian cuisine, Indo-Chinese delights, or just seeking an unforgettable dining experience, Dosa Hut is sure to satisfy your cravings. Highly recommended!

Dosa Hut in Gold Coast is a culinary gem that brings the flavors of South Indian cuisine to the Australian shores. Our dining experience at this establishment left us thoroughly satisfied and craving for more. To start our meal, we ordered the Pav Bhaji, a popular Indian street food dish. The rich, flavorful vegetable curry served with soft pav (bread rolls) was a delightful way to kick off our dining adventure. It was well-spiced and full of robust taste, reminding us of the bustling streets of Mumbai. Next up was the Chicken 65 Biryani, a fragrant and delicious dish. The tender chicken pieces were perfectly marinated and accompanied by a well-seasoned biryani that was packed with aromatic spices. It was a satisfying and filling entrée that showcased the culinary expertise of the chefs. Samosa Chaat was another highlight of our meal. This fusion of crispy samosas topped with spicy and tangy chutneys, yogurt, and fresh herbs was a burst of contrasting flavors and textures, making it a true delight for the taste buds. The Chef's Special Non-Veg Dosa was the star of the show. A giant dosa generously stuffed with succulent and well-spiced non-veg filling, it was a unique and indulgent creation that we couldn't get enough of. While the food was undoubtedly the highlight of our visit, the bill for our feast, totaling $65 AUD, was more than reasonable considering the quantity and quality of the dishes we enjoyed. In conclusion, Dosa Hut on the Gold Coast provides a mouthwatering journey through South Indian cuisine. The diverse menu, skilled chefs, and affordable prices make it a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic and delectable culinary experience. We left with our taste buds satisfied and our wallets unburdened, making Dosa Hut a memorable dining destination.

I had left a review here earlier, but deleted it because it was too humble. This business even blocked me (on my other account) from doing another review after leaving such an amusing response to my previous review as "please try to understand that everyone has a different appetite, so you can't blame our brand." I forgot to take a picture of their full reply before deleting my previous review, but I have a screenshot of the email I received when they responded. I am of South-East Asian background, and have been here a few times before and have ordered the same dishes before, and to be honest, they were delicious! This time I ordered the exact same dishes online: Dahi Puri, Masala Puri & Mango Lassi. Must have been the milk/dairy used because 15 minutes after having them, I felt so sick. I had heart palpitations, a heat flush and vomitted. This has never happened with their food before, and I DON'T have any allergies. I felt completely fine after getting that contaminated food out of my system. My family member also complained saying that the mango lassi didn't taste good. I have also seen another review here about a customer getting an upset stomach, another complaining about receiving spoiled food, so I would suggest for a GCCC Member to come down and take a look at their food prep and storage. Would upload photos of my experience, but I don't think anyone wants to see vomit as evidence 😂. Any negative reply from them this time is pure coverance for their "brand". I hope this is fixed ASAP, otherwise the food is great (saying this despite what happened). Really hope it gets fixed! Protect yourself from food poisoning!!

I just had the chance to eat at an Indian restaurant, and it disappointed and underwhelmed me. Although I had previously appreciated their food, I just visited and the experience was ruined by a number of problems. First of all, the food's quality was poor. The food I ordered smelled and tasted raw, indicating that it wasn't properly cooked or prepared. Receiving badly prepared meals was disappointing, especially in light of the restaurant's previous reputation. Disappointingly, the dishes were prepared with little regard for detail. Additionally, the dishes' serving sizes were substantially smaller. This restaurant used to serve a lot of food, and I always enjoyed it, but this time the portions were substantially less. It seems like a major decrease in value for money given the high prices. Paying a pricey $200 and getting such pitiful servings in return was depressing. The recent adjustment in their pricing just made things worse. The cost of the food has significantly increased as a result of the restaurant's recent pricing list modification. Although I am aware that pricing can fluctuate over time, the sudden increase in cost without a discernible difference in the calibre of the cuisine or the dining experience was difficult to justify. Worst customer service ever. It all started when We entered the restaurant 8:20 pm today and instead of being greeted by the staff. She asked if we having take away. And she mentioned that they only do takeaway after 8:30 pm upon showing her the time that its just 8:21pm she got caught up in her own words and agreed to let us dine in after requesting that it is just two of us and wouldn't take long. To my knowledge she was the manager of the restaurant. She insisted us to sit on a 5 seater table as they already closed the other side with two seater table. Any way after all this another waitress came to take our order and after taking our order she asked us to move to a two seater table and said we are sitting on a 5 seater table and they have already set it up for tomorrow and if we use it they have to redo the setup again. I mean like what kind of restaurant staff says that. Is that my problem that she gotta do her job again. We have been in this country from last 8 years and we know how hospitality works as we have worked in restaurants and we have never occupied a big table for the two of us. We explained her the whole scenario and told her that the other waitress asked us to sit here. She started explaining herself and the argument begin which wasted another 5-7 minutes but still calmed our self and begged her to just give us the food and not to explain anymore. Both of the waitresses didn’t know what they are doing manager said that they don’t do dine in after 8:30pm and the other one said we don’t do dine in after 8:15pm both of their statements didn’t match and mind you online it says closing time is 9pm Which increased our frustration level instead of working their level best for customer satisfaction she kept on explaining herself and said they know what they are doing and know how the customer service works. No doubt the food was delicious but the customer service was so poor. Have been to this restaurant for family dinner and get togethers. Will not recommend this restaurant to anyone and will never...
