Miso Sushi — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

today i went into miso sushi first the first time for lunch, did not know what to expect.

the first step into the shop, i was quickly greeted, by three very friendly ladies.

the very nice lady serving me was very personable when i asked her what to get, she did not try up sell me she simply told me the curry don was the best !

after a short 3m wait, i got brought out a boiling hot curry don, its smell was mouth watering !

when i go out to eat i always stick to asian cuisine, so i have had my fare share of curry dons and when i tell you it was the best i’ve ever had i mean it !

the curry was thick and rich with flavour, the rice was light and fluffy, but the chicken was the star of the meal !

crispy chicken, the crumb was very delicious and chicken it’s self was very fresh !

the first meal was so good, i preceded to get a second meal, so i went with udon, im not the biggest fan of prawn, so the crispy prawn wasn’t too exciting

but the broth and the noddles made up for it, again very fresh and boiling hot, the noodles and broth worked very well together was very enjoyable !

after those two was too full for anything else, i eat a lot but a normal person would get away with just one meal and for 14.5 for each meal no complaints very high quality for a good price !

I came here for lunch with a friend. It was a delightful experience. The owner(?) was really nice and sweet. I had the Chicken Curry Don, and it was honestly the best I think I've ever had. The chicken was so juicy and tender, the crumb was nice and crispy, and the curry itself was just great. Everything seemed to be made in house, and I made a remark to my friend saying that I wouldn't be surprised if they grew the rice themselves too.

Sadly, my friend and I don't live nearby, but we're definitely going back when we have the chance so we can try more of their menu. It's clear the passion is there, which I love and respect deeply.

We found this shop by chance and I am so glad we did. The front service woman was so friendly and efficient, the food was quick and so fresh! I had the Teriyaki chicken don and some pork Gyoza. It was all hot and delicious, everything was so juicy and the sauce was like how I make it at home. I will be back when I’m on the coast again!
