Tonight’s dining experience was a bittersweet one. On the one hand, the food was absolutely spectacular — rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. However, the service left a lot to be desired, and unfortunately, that impacted the overall experience.

There were several issues that stood out. Despite pointing out a meal choice twice, the order still arrived incorrectly. What we received was completely different from what was requested. By the time the food finally came, we were too hungry to argue, which is disappointing in itself.

To make matters worse, nothing was cleared or picked up until after the bill was paid. When reviewing the receipt, we noticed we had been charged for an extra cocktail and an additional soft drink we didn’t order. Whether this came down to poor communication or simply a lack of care, it was frustrating and left us questioning the attentiveness of the staff.

And to top it all off — after spending a substantial amount on the meal — we were charged for takeaway containers. It may seem like a small thing, but those small gestures often make or break a dining experience. Sadly, in this case, they were lacking.

Overall, while the food itself was excellent, the service and attention to detail didn’t measure up, leaving us with mixed feelings...

Edit: Your response is just another reflection of the terrible service attitude we received at dinner. It’s odd how you immediately felt the need to shift blame and mention that we’re Chinese, especially considering the shift in attitude when you realized one of us spoke local English. Would not recommend anybody to come here, considering this response.

Extremely disappointing experience at dinner today. I have eaten here previously, however I will not be coming back and would not recommend this place. We waited for over an hour for the food, and flagged down the waitress multiple times only to get told “the food’s coming” (the restaurant was half empty). Other customers who ordered after us received their food first. The pad thai was tasteless and the crispy pork was too salty - extremely disappointing especially considering the price and the long wait time. The service was sub par at best, and not even a sorry from any of the staff. If it couldn’t get any worse, we were overcharged 15 dollars for the tom kha soup and had to ask for...

I was really looking forward to dining here but things went wrong from the start. First the inside table I had booked was taken by other diners and we finished up on the broad-walk. Didn't mind until a cool evening kicked in and we were unprepared for cool weather, and unfortunately all the heaters were otherwise taken up until later. The failed lighting was a challenge for menu reading. However we came for food and this was the biggest disappointment, the satay skewers were oversized and a little overcooked but not a fail. However all main courses were oversaturated with coconut milk, not Thai hot as requested and unfortunately I had beef curry which was the toughest gristly meat ever in a Thai restaurant. The thirst during the night confirmed an over use of seasoning on our meals. The staff were great so well done there the ambience is really good but the food is not quality Thai food. My dog loved the grisly beef so she was pleased. I must say I did have lunch there some time back and it was ok so I'm not sure what is going on with...

A mixed blessing. As one of the few Thai restaurants in the area, its location on the boardwalk is superb. Beautiful decor and at the time of our visit, great live music. A large restaurant which would no doubt be suitable for any get together. It therefore surprised (& annoyed) us that despite the restaurant being at about a third capacity, we were left to wait for over half hour for our 2 simple meals, whilst watching others arriving after us served meals. (So much for a quick bite to eat on the way home!) Listening to the adjacent restaurant's loud entertainment (at best a reasonable karaoke) for that time was the encouragement we needed to convert our meal to takeaway & head home. This delicious and tasty food would have to be amongst the best Thai food we've had. Although we love being at home, such a shame that our first experience of it was in takeaway containers and not in their beautiful restaurant surroundings.

We have been coming here for the past 6 months almost weekly. The ambiance is absolutely incredible- piano live music, the views of the marina, and the service is quick and efficient. We have had pleasure of Sandy serving us in multiple occasions and she is always making sure we got everything we need and that we can share all our meals. We have tried all the curries, we love the noodle dishes, the entree’s are always delicious start and perfect for sharing. Do yourself a favour and have a lunch or dinner at the best Thai restaurant! Thank you for always looking after us and we are looking forward to the next time!

Had lunch here with family. Food was average to below average. Service varied, some were very kind others were below average. Price was high. Weekend surcharge 10%. Coconut rice was $7.50 per little portions. A bowl of rice had 9 portions in it, didn't look too large costed close to $70. A fish, below average in taste and size costed $66 (picture enclosed), the rice was more expensive. Food portions were above average in comparison to other Thai places we tried.
