I just had to leave a review—because this place gave me such a good time in such a beautiful setting.
I’ve been to Yankees in Surfers Paradise before and had a great experience there too. But the Hope Island location really stands out. While the menu is similar, the vibe and atmosphere feel totally different. And the style of foods are different, too. The open space and marina views make the whole experience feel extra special.
The prosciutto pizza was insanely good—packed with flavour and super generous in portion. I actually struggled to finish it! And the chicken parmigiana? Honestly, it was so delicious. 🤤🤤🤤
The night I visited also happened to be Trivia Night, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The host was funny, and seeing everyone so involved added such a lively, fun energy to the place. It gave me such a positive impression of the restaurant.
I can’t forget to mention the young girl staff member who looked after our table. She was incredibly kind and welcoming—her attitude really lifted the whole dining experience and helped us enjoy everything to the fullest.
If you're around Hope Island and looking for a great spot to eat, this place is definitely worth checking out! ⭐️⭐️

Read moreGenuinely surprised how many good reviews there are for this place because our experience was terrible.
Firstly, they need to be writing orders down not trying to memorise them. No surprise our order didn’t come out right.
Took 30 minutes for bruschetta and wings to come out. I watched the bruschetta sit on the bench for over 5 minutes before someone grabbed it to bring out. Wings had the wrong sauce and we specifically asked for sauce on the side which didn’t happen.
Another 20 minutes for a burger and main meal to come out. The burger patty was rare in the middle.
They had obviously forgotten my son’s kids burger and I told them not to worry about it as we’d already finished our mains. The server/manager tried to explain he had to ask the cook to make the patty well done. How about cook it right the first time so my poor son is not starving having to wait almost an hour for food?!?!
I asked for a mocktail strawberry daiquiri and was given a glass of what just tasted just like cranberry juice. My husband’s margarita tasted like lemon not lime.
Definitely will...
