Hungry Jack's Burgers Burleigh West — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I do NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE the meaning of FAST food is totally lost in this store accuracy with orders ...forget it! we arrived Sunday morning 8/01/2017 there was a small queue two people operating the front counter one with a head phone ..the girl serving must have been on Drugs or was in some sort of time warp she moved slowly talked slowly and thought slowly. i became so frustrated with the lack of attention to what was being said by customers to the staff and the total lack of movement in the queue that i left after 15 mins My wife stayed i went to the car.15 mins of further waiting by my saintly wife she arrived with food only half of her order was taken down and delivered the man in front of us was also waiting for the rest of his order when my wife left. my advice to the store owner train the staff or get better staff or take an interest in the store would be a good starting point the door handle to the store was disgustingly coated with grime god knows what the toilets would have been like and the hygiene in the kitchen is also a concern. came through drivethru on saturday night and paid for an order almost double then i should have, got the order refunded to pay again for a second order got home and all my chips were upside down i was missing a burger so my partner had nothing to eat except bag fries my own burger was made poorly. Proceeded to call the manager at the store back about getting a refund for my order and was told i could in cash for my FULL order as well as a voucher for the missing burger. Came back to the store to get my refund only to be to given the money back for the one burger i was missing. I am now down $120 waiting for the first almost $80 refund to come back through my bank. I obviously did not want to cause a scene however as a customer service worker myself in a very similar food chain i would never give that service to a customer also would never say a customer they can have their money back and not give it to them when they come BACK to the store...

While I don't usually find myself writing reviews, I feel compelled to share my recent encounter at the Hungry Jacks in Burleigh. Regrettably, the experience tonight went far beyond mere disappointment; it's a matter that should genuinely concern the company. The condition of the table tops was nothing short of repulsive. The staff's behavior was equally disconcerting as they carelessly hurled drink straws across the counter and shoved in an over the top amount of napkins into the food bags. The speed of service was far from what one would expect for a takeaway, and to add to the dismay, during our meal, several other customers returned with receipts to highlight errors and mistakes in their orders. All in all, this visit left much to be desired and leaves one wondering about the quality and professionalism upheld by the establishment.
