I recently dined at iDumplings Benowa, and I have to say, it was an absolute delight. The highlight for me was the pork and chive dumplings in Sichuan chilli dumpling sauce and the beef brisket noodle soup. Both dishes were so delicious that I’ve found myself searching for recipes to try and recreate them at home to satisfy the cravings.
Now, I’m typically the type to skip eating out unless it’s something I couldn’t whip up myself, but this experience definitely made it worth the visit. The standout for me was the beef brisket noodle soup. I opted for the non-spicy version to really taste the depth of their broth, and it did not disappoint. The flavour was rich and comforting. And then came the noodles… I’ve tried noodles both locally and abroad, but these were truly unique. They had a silky, soft texture with just the right amount of chewiness, something I haven’t quite encountered before.
The staff were friendly yet unobtrusive, allowing the quirky little robot to deliver dishes but stepping in when necessary to speed things up when another dish was ready. Their attentiveness struck the perfect balance.
While I could only give 5 stars, this place genuinely deserves much more. My only disappointment was that it wasn’t busier. However, there was a steady flow of Uber Eats orders keeping the kitchen buzzing, with couriers arriving regularly to collect their deliveries. 3 months after the last time. I had beef noodles and 2 kinds of dumplings 🥟 Assorted dumplings were hard to recognise or guess what was filled inside 🤣 But still, they are nice😋 The soup noodle looked simple but gentle flavour of the soup, silky noodles and very soft chunky beef😘 The food was served by a robot 🥳 which is fan😄 I’m sure to come back to try more different food😋
It’s my first visit to my lunch😋 I had Prawn pork wonton soup and Pan-fried assorted dumplings 🥟 Wontons had a nice texture 😘 The soup was chicken based??? Cabbage was a nice accent 🥳 Dumplings were hard to recognise how many kinds there when served😅 6 kinds??? I believe 🤗 But they were all good😁👍🏻 Some dumplings had some juicy meat😍 Nice crunchy texture with the bottom sheet(?) I’d love to come back and then try different dishes...

Lots of Seating Options Available, Including Lovely Booth Style Tables.
Scrumptious Freshly Prepared Dumplings as Well as Rice,Noodle & Soup Dishes.
The Staff Are Very Helpful and Friendly.
The Dish I Had, Pork & Prawn Dumplings in Spicy Peanut Dressing Was Very Tasty & Well Priced. Their Signature Milk Tea Was Good Too !!
They Have Robots Delivering Your Food, Which Is Quite a Novelty !
