Indian Flavours In Palm — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

After eating here tonight I’m pretty suspicious of all the reviews. They can’t be right. I tried the butter chicken and aloo gobi. Butter chicken was really too thick and rich, it had the consistency of a custard. And lacked the tomato spice flavour it’s all about. Bordering on inedible. Aloo gobi came with undercooked cauliflower and lacked any sort of rich spicy flavour, basically quite bland and mild. Even though I did ask for hot. The garlic naan was nice but too thin and therefore a little dry.

Really strange glaring failures based on all these amazing reviews.

As a longtime fan of Indian cuisine, I’ve tried countless restaurants, but the vegetarian curry I had here was hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. Pls make sure you check your itemise tax invoice as lady at counter charges extra. We order 2 different curry but end up same only difference was paneer & mix vegetable they use same red colour curry pest. Mango lassi no way near mango lassi & salty lassi we requested less salt but turn out too salty so we told staff but not even single sorry from her or didn’t made any effort to change, Staff didn’t even care to clean water spilled we had to clean. Aircorn wasn’t even working & mosquito all around not clean. Definitely Not...
