Guzman y Gomez - Upper Coomera — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

On the 17th at About 9am I went through drive thru with my kids and ordered a breaky burrito and hash browns. The lady that took my order and payment ( long dark brown hair ) told me there was a few mins wait for hash browns and told me to park - very happy to park as I know food takes time. I parked, and waited at least 6 minutes before going inside to see she was on her phone as I waited for her to come over she then said what can I get you ( she was the one that served me and told me to park ) I said you parked me and I’ve been waiting for over 6 minutes she said oh and she went behind the middle bench and was laughing as she told the guy ( with long blonde brown hair ) that she forgot my order, he came to me partly laughing asking what my order was then proceeded to give me the bag that my burrito was sitting in for at least 6 mins I said I’m sorry I’m pregnant I don’t want to eat a burrito that had been sitting for so long he said no worries re made the burrito put the hash browns that had been sitting for however long in the bag appologise and gave me free mini cards. I am embarrassed for the store at this poor customer service and food safety department should be looking at how this store regulates their food. I had been a regular prior to this (every other day would order) and have had cold burritos and hash browns in the past. Forgivingly We went back for hash browns on the weekend past and the hash browns for my kids - they were rock cold tasted like oil and we threw them out. We eat at Guzman all the time but went to Upper Coomera drive-thru to try a breakfast burrito this morning. Ordered and paid for 2 in meals with bacon. Got to the pickup window to be told they had no bacon or chorizo (Definitely not ideal but these things happen) so we're offered a substitute. After picking a less satisfying breakfast filling, the staff member confirmed we still wanted the breakfast burrito with a hash browns in them, both of us obviously said yes and we were asked to park in the waiting bay. After spending OVER 20 MINUTES in the waiting bay the same girl came out, apologised handed us our food and 2 'free mini item' cards. We open our breakfast burritos to find they are regular burritos... 30 minutes of waiting and disappointment for further disappointment! BLACK BEANS ARE NO HANGOVER CURE. Went to take them back through for a refund but by this stage there were 5 poor souls stuck in the drive-thru and we didn't want to waste the next 3 years of our life. Got 2 bites deep before they went back in the bag and we pulled in to maccas to get actual breakfast....

Was pretty disappointed today. I usually do t give reviews but it’s Father’s Day and I was pretty annoyed.

Went through drive through with the family, as we all love coming here, it’s generally good, always give good recommendations to come here. Myself ordered an enchilada, no beans, extra spicy chicken. Get home, no beans and no chicken! So I go back and say the orders wrong, and tell them the correct order, to which the reply was I have to pay extra. Yea right! I said I’ve jow had to drive back down and my family is now eating Father’s Day lunch without me. So they try to correct it. I get back home and I now have extra chicken and extra beans! By this stage the family has already finished and I end up making myself something at home.

Not going to say that I won’t come back here as the food is generally good, but maybe the staff need to actually listen to orders, or at least make more of an effort to accept their mistake and make sure the...
