Subarashī. Fantastic! We dropped in for breakfast. The place has a nice intimate layout, and is very clean and tidy.

The man behind the counter was welcoming and very pleasant. There is a reasonable menu and I noted a cabinet with other grab and go type foods right down to sandwiches. They have covered most bases.

We had been tempted by the allure of the Zen Breakfast...charred salmon and condiments of pickles and dashimoto egg and even a piece of karrage chicken served with a bowl of miso soup and the ubiquitous rice. What a taste sensation and a wonderful way to start the day or even keep the day going if you had it later. The miso was perfect; a bowl of nourishing flavour without being over powering or salty. The rice was cooked to perfection and made a great filler. The main plate was above awesome...little nuggets of flavour with the salmon and chicken complimented by japanese pickles and the egg. Simply wow!

There was another very simple wow in that we ordered coffees, also excellent, and the man asked would we like them now or with the food. So simple and yet the first time we have ever been asked.

All of the people we dealt with which was the counter man, the chef, the server and another, all had the exuberance and friendliness that is so infectious. I certainly hope Kudos Bros does well as they have done so well to produce...

I've visited Kudos CafĂ© twice now, and it’s become one of my favourite hidden gems in Robina. Tucked away from the busy streets, this little Japanese-owned cafĂ© gives off such a warm, homey vibe — perfect for a relaxing brunch or coffee break.

On my first visit, I tried their traditional Japanese breakfast — absolutely delicious! A slightly larger portion would’ve made it perfect, but the flavours were spot on. On my second visit, I had the salmon nigiri and spicy pickles. I love nigiri, and while the salmon was fresh and tasty, I would have liked it to be just a touch more seasoned.

The coffee here is superb — smooth, well-brewed, and clearly made with care. I also tried the strawberry mochi (the strawberry was big and juicy, and the mochi was the right amount of chewy) and was lucky enough to score the last slice of their Swiss roll — it was a hit!

Another bonus: it’s a very dog-friendly cafĂ©! They offer puppuccinos and dog biscuits (although they ran out of biscuits on my last visit).

I love supporting small local businesses, and Kudos is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area. Highly...

Decided to try this place out as was hungry and heading to Robina library and this was probably one of my best decisions of the year. The owners were super nice and the cafe looked amazing. My life has been changed through the tuna onigiri and the chocolate milkshake which is the best I’ve ever had so can’t wait to come back here again. Everything is made fresh so you won’t be able to make a quick grab and go unless you order the phone which is something I will definitely be doing in future. Can’t wait to also attend the end of month party the owners mentioned to me as it seems to have a lot of good food and merch available.

10/10 would recommend, I can’t wait to have that tuna onigiri and...
