A warmly presented and inviting restaurant. Stylish and very comfortable surroundings without being pretentious. The presentation of the store, the timeliness, quality and taste of food and drinks is impressive, especially their wood fired pizzas, delicious!.
The standout though is a staff member named Taylor. Taylorâs first impression greatly influenced me being a returning customer. She is down to earth, polite, respectful, warm natured and has a great sense of humour. Taylor takes the time to give customers an actual experience. Reassuring to see a staff member that genuinely cares about people and not just the pay cheque.
In my visits, Taylor has been positive, calm and efficient, despite multitasking various challenges. Taylor was friendly and attentive, taking the time to ask clarifying questions and repeat preferences to get what I wanted and any customisations exactly right every time I visit. It was not a hassle and she was genuinely accommodating. Customer service like this should exist everywhere but especially in high end areas like Hope Island where the price point should be relative to quality.
Taylor is a rare find and it is evident in the way other staff lean to her and interact with her that her experience, skills and personal characteristics are respected and serve as role modelling behaviour for Teamwork and professionalism. I have witnessed her treat everyone with respect, thoughtfulness and care, from staff to customers to random people walking outside. I am thankful for people like Taylor who make a memorable and positive world of difference to someone's day. Thank...
Read moreGroup of us 7 came here for dinner for our Christmas get together. Picked a table outside because thought it would be noisy inside. The young girl as waitress was lovely and went out of her way for us.It took a while to order our food and we also ordered garlic bread for the table. Out came 4 slices when there was 7 of us. We then told (think owner) we needed more bread. That got ignored till we told the girl, she then brought more out. The food came in drips and drabs, being only warm to begin with. We then asked for parmesan cheese and pepper. You would think we had asked for gold...out came small tiny bowl to share of parmesan cheese and an old battered pepper mill. We then said we all wanted parmesan cheese. The owner needs to WAKE UP, get a personality and be friendly to his customers, has NO IDEA at all. Should be going around to customers asking how their meal is etc etc.The food itself was delicious but not hot enough. When it came time to pay, we were ASTOUNDED that there was a fee of 10$ per bottle of corkage fee....ARE YOU SERIOUS !!! As we all had our own wine but 1 didnt drink that was 60$ fee!!!! I feel this should be stopped or change it to non BYO restaurant. Needs to pick up the game or it will be another statistic restaurant closing down. We normally go to Iseco at Sancuary Cove for Christmas get together but decide to give a small buisness a go... Sorry wont be back. Wake up before...
Read moreItalian restaurants usually specialize in the cuisine of a specific region of Italy. The chef or owners are often from that region(an Indian cook not a chef)and their recipes are adaptations of dishes typically served there. They probably won't be serving spaghetti and meatballs or fettuccini Alfredo either. The food was totally bogus for its taste plus quality and service was amateur which is against Italian standards.
Fake Italian restaurant because the signage claims the food served is âauthentic Italianâ. Unfortunately, too many times the dishes on the menu are just poor imitations and pure crimes against the Italian cuisine! Such as this restaurant . A total fugase , a fake Wanna be . The owner is a total fraud. Please save your money for the real Italian food . This restaurant is called â mad over Italian but in reality itâs actually âMad over Indianâ. I rest my case .
Btw I do have two dine in receipts to prove my visits and as well as bank statements. Would you like for me to share? I donât have any personal agenda with you , neither know you from a hole in the wall nor any craving for defaming you but to state...
