We ate twice here in the space of two weeks, one good experience and one horrific... We were a table of 10 the second time, and had a 45 minute wait in between the first meal arriving and the last, most of the table had finished by the time the last one was served. The kitchen does not know what it is doing. We stopped coming here 18 months ago, for the same reason, takeaways are prioritised over customers sat in front of them, and the staff are totally overworked. The kitchen starts with one order, then picks up another and another, and then forgets what it has served from the first, the dishes sit on the side going cold until someone complains and they then work out which dish belongs to the table. They have no idea of how to run a kitchen at all, and there seems to be no head chef. This is only going to get worse with all the building of new apartments on the doorstep. My advice is go to Chim Thai in Sanctuary Cove a much more professional and better run set up with more or less the same menu. I have called to speak with the owner and also e-mailed them, both have been ignored. Avoid, as totally inconsistent, and you will never know what you are going to get until their system fails and you are disappointed.
We love this restaurant for the food which is of good quality when/if it arrives and isn't cold, and have visited probably 30 time with mixed experiences, and i can no longer sit on my tongues. Do them a favour and post a bad review if you have a similar experience as they just...
Read moreFabulous food, bad customer service from one girl named âbinâ or âbingâ, everyone else is friendly.
We had wonton soup, three sauce whole barramundi, crispy pork plum sauce and Thai fried rice. The mains and rice were amazing, the wonton soup base tastes exactly like mi goreng but diluted, not the best and it was lukewarm.
We were sitting at the table looking at the kitchen pass, I saw a wonton soup ready and the chef had rung the service bell many times. This Bin girl âdidnât hear or seeâ the window, walked towards the pass and took a 90 degree turn to collect one empty dish from another table. They werenât busy at that time at all.
When she came back out, I asked her how long the wonton soup would be because weâd been sitting there for over 20 mins. She said to me âoh yeah we are quite busy tonight as you can seeâ. Isnât this supposed to be communicated to us before we sat down? Both of us were very hungry so I asked her to talk to kitchen.
She checked, and it was our wonton soup. I said so that wonton soup has been sitting there for 10 mins, not even hot anymore. She said âwhat do you want then?â I was truly shocked and didnât know what to say, coming from a hospitality background, we would never say anything like that to any customer.
After entrees, food came out fast and good quality. The barramundi...
Read moreWeâve been trying to dine at OSHA for a while but always forget to book and then find they are full. Tonight we remembered to book as we were celebrating my partner getting a new job. Unfortunately we were seated right up the far corner or the restaurant (it was only half full), right in the draft of the very cold air con. After fifteen minutes I managed to catch the eye of one of the staff, who was busy serving take out pickups, and they took our order. We ordered a range of small bites and a large meal with a bowl of fried rice. We then waited⌠Our small bowls came out one at a time with a wait of five to ten minutes between each one. So rather than a tapas style grazing meal we had four small plates in isolation. Then after 45 minutes the main dish came out, which was my sons meal. Heâd sat and watched us eat ours for 45 minutes and then we had to wait for him to eat his on his own. All the time this was happening takeout after takeout was being cooked and picked up. Itâs clear the kitchens are prioritising takeout meals over dine in meals :-( So even though the food was good and the staff friendly we wonât...
