Yuck is the first word that I would use to describe this pizza. Marie's Pizza sent me a link to leave a review with them but the link does not. I would have prefered to have given them the opportunity to correct the problems. We spent nearly $50 in total and received two pizzas that were burnt on the edges and the outside crust was very hard. My wife loves the outside crust but even she could not eat it. The pizza was dried out and definitely not worth it. This was a celebration for my son's 15th birthday and it was ruined due to the quality of pizza we received. We tried Marie's Pizza due to the Google reviews that described it as a great place to eat, so very disappointed. Update: I would love to speak with your staff about the pizza I received, however there is no way to contact them as the phone number given is no longer in service. So if the owner who responded to this review would give there phone number to me I will call them and give them a chance to improve their pizza review.

It would be a good pizza but... Why do you put so much garlic on a prawn pizza? There was literally a layer of garlic spread on whole pizza like a jam. It was an overkill. Inedible!!! Besides, no shallots at all and almost half of the prawns were the size of a fingernail (are you sure you use just the king prawns as described or do you mix them with the cocktail shrimps to cut the expenses?) I feel betrayed. I didn't have high expectations, I wanted to eat some ordinary pizza but something a bit better than domino's. Big disappointment because I had to throw it away. Seriously, for this money you can buy a way better pizza in the area! Suitable for consumption at least ;)

Ordered from here before, usually the pizza is pretty good. HOWEVER… This occasion, the pizza was very overcooked, cheese dark brown, crust was like cardboard. Just warm on arrival also… My father and I hate food waste so ate what we could of it anyway, but got to the point where we couldn’t put ourselves through the torture any more. Example slice of cheese and garlic pizza and Blazing Saddle below. Delivery was courteous as they called on arrival. Can’t fault that for service and it arrived earlier than expected. Honestly, after this experience, I won’t be back.

Tonight (24th Aug 2020) at 6pm, I enjoyed the best XXX pizza I've ever tasted at any Maries Pizza venue, ever!

I excluded the anchovies, but added garlic. It's not a garlic sauce, it's garlic! I was happy to pay the extra 80c or whatever it costed because it was generous and, boy... was it good!

The 2x young kids (guy & girl) I picked it up from instore at Palm Beach tonight were both polite and running the shop with confidence.

The toppings were just perfect! The base wasn't as oily as any past experience, nor other pizza venues. This is pretty amazing given the amount of extra toppings you receive on a XXX!

The top had browny crusty bits in places from cooked cheese & bacon, yet absolutely nothing was burnt. And the base was cooked throughout (unlike Dom's down the road on the last few occassions). Sorry guys, but I'm really turned off by your raw dough... a pizza in 5mins just doesn't make sense!

Anyway, thank you to the 2 of your young team members working tonight! I wish I tipped you!!! Instead, I'll write this post and hope you read it. Or your boss gives you one lol.

Went to Maree’s Pizza at Palm Beach tonight due to blackout on Gold Coast. Ordered a gluten free pizza. Very nice man told us it would be a half hour wait. They were very busy as one of the few places open. We went back after 25 mins and the man said it would be another 5 mins. 15 mins later Dad asked again and told him several people that had ordered after us already had received their pizzas. When he checked with the cook he was told “I’m making it now”! We finally got the pizza after nearly an hour wait. We got home only to find the base was barely cooked and the Supreme topping was very light on (Anchovies and cheese in particular were hard to find). We were unable to cook it more at home due to the blackout. I realise they were busy, but prioritising non-GF orders just because you can’t be bothered doing the 1 GF order, is rubbish. Very...
