My recent visit to the café was nothing short of disappointing. If it were possible, I would rate this experience zero stars due to the disgraceful service I encountered.

I arrived at the café at 3:30 PM, only to be greeted by tables that were disgustingly filthy. The state of cleanliness was unacceptable, leaving a poor first impression.

Attempting to place an order was an ordeal in itself. The café had QR codes on the tables for ordering, but upon scanning, I was notified that the QR code system was no longer in use. This lack of updated information was frustrating.

After realizing the QR code was obsolete, I went to the counter to place my order. Despite being the only person in line, I waited for ten minutes before a staff member approached me. The café was not busy, yet the staff seemed indifferent to the presence of customers waiting to be served.

When I finally got to place my order, I was informed that they would not be serving frappes anymore. This was particularly frustrating as frappes were still being advertised prominently on their screens. The staff’s response to my inquiry was aggressive and dismissive, stating simply that they would not make any more frappes, despite the café being full of customers expecting the advertised items.

The staff appeared unbothered and lacked basic customer service skills. Communication was nonexistent, contributing to an overall atmosphere of frustration among customers. I was not alone in my dissatisfaction, as other patrons were visibly upset with the service as well.

In conclusion, my visit to this café was marred by poor service and a disregard for customer satisfaction. Improvements in cleanliness, communication, and staff training are essential to enhance the customer experience...

I recently visited your coffee shop with high hopes of enjoying a pleasant cup of coffee and a relaxing atmosphere. However, I was deeply disappointed by the lack of respectful customer service provided by the staff at the counter.

From the moment I approached the counter, it was evident that the staff members lacked the necessary training on how to communicate respectfully with customers. The tone used by the staff was dismissive and condescending, making me feel unwelcome and undervalued as a customer.

Not only did the staff fail to greet me with a friendly smile or a simple "hello," but they also seemed disinterested in assisting me with my order. Their lack of professionalism was evident in their inability to communicate clearly and patiently.

Furthermore, I observed similar instances of disrespectful behavior towards other customers during my visit. It was disheartening to witness the staff's impatience and unwillingness to address customers' concerns or requests in a polite manner.

As a regular customer of various coffee shops, I understand that providing excellent customer service is a crucial aspect of running a successful business. It is essential for staff members to be trained in effective communication skills, including how to interact respectfully with customers.

I believe that improving the customer service experience at your coffee shop should be a priority.

I sincerely hope that my feedback will be taken into consideration, and that appropriate action will be taken to address the issue of disrespectful customer service at your coffee shop.

Just landed in from Sydney to Gold Coast. I ordered scrambled eggs with bacon and sourdough. SO expensive for a meagre proportion of food. The servings of egg was way small. These people didn't even put butter on the toast. How miserably tight they are. The coffees were very average and they had the temerity and guile to charge me close to $40 for a meal I wouldn't even feed the local stray dog! I asked for the bacon to be well done and it came put like cold dry leather. The attitude of the person who served me was poor. Can I suggest you get a new cook and ease up on the prices you charge. Never again ! Stay clear of this place you've been warned !!! Shhockkiinng!!!

GOLD COAST AIRPORT First visit to this coffee joint, And will be the last, First time flying out of the country in 12 years, and I thought I would pop in here as I saw friendly faces to serve beautiful coffee, To my surprise when I approached the counter, The staff were absolutely rude, they took my order and made me wait, not 5 mins, But 8 customers who ordered after me. So I went to ask if my order was ready, they had to scroll back and ask me what it was. I didn’t receive a “buzzer” like all the people after me. No apology from the main lady who served me. Thanks a lot for my first unpleasant Merlo experience
