On my recent visit, I was served by a staff member named Mariana, whose behavior was shockingly rude and unprofessional from the very beginning. She took my order with an unfriendly attitude, and even after making a mistake with the order, she only offered a perfunctory verbal apology without any genuine sense of responsibility or courtesy. Her demeanor remained dismissive and disrespectful throughout my time at the café. In addition, the table we were assigned was left in a highly unsanitary condition — cluttered with dirty dishes, leftover food, and trash from previous customers. When I politely asked Mariana if the table could be cleaned, she responded rudely, telling us to wait because they were “too busy,” using an unprofessional and impolite tone. We waited for 20 minutes, yet the table was never cleaned by her. Eventually, another staff member stepped in to clear it. What made matters worse was Mariana’s conduct afterward. She repeatedly glanced at us in a disparaging manner, made gestures suggesting she was mocking us to her colleagues, and laughed with other staff members while looking at our table. This behavior was not only unprofessional but also deeply disrespectful, leaving us feeling uncomfortable and humiliated. As for the products we received, the coffee was served excessively hot — dangerously so, even though I had not requested it to be extra hot. I could not drink it without the risk of burning my mouth, and the food was of equally poor quality. Overall, this was the worst experience I have ever had at a café in Australia. Given the unacceptable service and the poor quality of food and drinks, I believe it is only fair to request a full refund for my visit. Not only did I leave dissatisfied, but I also felt disrespected and uncomfortable throughout my time at your establishment. I strongly urge the management team to take this complaint seriously and address this matter promptly. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism, and I sincerely hope no other guest will have to endure what I experienced.

Where’s the salsa bro? If I could give zero stars, I would.
This place should not be allowed to serve food at the Gold Coast Airport. We made the rookie error of not checking the reviews before ordering. What followed was an expensive, disappointing ordeal that left us still hungry and hoping like heck we wouldn't end up sick from the ten guilty bites we managed to stomach. We ordered two chicken nachos ($24 each) and a kids' cheeseburger ($14). We were initially overcharged a fact only corrected when I pointed it out. Not even a sorry from the cashier. Not a good start. Now, onto the food. Calling it “nachos” is a stretch. Imagine a pile of dry corn chips topped with a smear of refried beans, about ten lonely black or kidney beans buried in the second layer, a sad dollop of that processed Subway-style green guacamole, and a dollop of sour cream (the only vaguely redeeming component). Oh and the “chicken”? Chopped chunks of what looked like grey, processed deli “meat style” loaf. Most of it we didn’t dare eat. It’s airport food, sure. But this wasn’t just overpriced, it was borderline inedible. For $24, I expect at the very least real chicken and some actual salsa to tie it together. Instead, it was dry, bland, and visually unappetising. Like someone Googled “nachos” and gave up halfway through. Honestly? I wouldn’t feed this to my dog. It’s a culinary crime that this place is allowed to operate in a busy international airport, charging premium prices for subpar, borderline unsafe food. Do yourself a favour: eat literally anywhere else before you fly. 👍

My recent visit to Paradox Coffee at Gold Coast Airport left me with mixed feelings. While the overall experience was satisfactory, it fell short of expectations, particularly in the realm of coffee quality. Opting for their signature brew, I found the coffee to be rather underwhelming – nothing more than your average cup of joe. Despite being priced similarly to other outlets, the lack of distinctiveness in flavor left much to be desired. It was a disappointment, considering the reputation Paradox Coffee holds in the industry. On the brighter side, their croissant sandwich managed to salvage some points. Though not exceptional, it provided a decent accompaniment to my lackluster coffee. However, it failed to leave a lasting impression, merely serving as a filler rather than a highlight of the experience. Where Paradox Coffee truly shines is in its customer service. Despite my reservations about the coffee and sandwich, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to assist made the experience more pleasant than it would have been otherwise. In retrospect, my visit to Paradox Coffee was an okay experience. While the coffee and food failed to wow me, the exceptional customer service provided a silver lining. If you find yourself at Gold Coast Airport in need of a quick caffeine fix or bite to eat, Paradox Coffee may suffice, but don't expect it to be a highlight of your culinary journey.

I had the pleasure of visiting Paradox Coffee Roaster Bar recently, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The ambiance was inviting, with a cozy and rustic atmosphere that made it the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee. However, what truly set this place apart was the outstanding service provided by Tynill.

Tynill's dedication and passion for her work were evident from the moment I walked in. She greeted me with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm for coffee that was infectious. Her knowledge of the coffee menu was impressive, and she took the time to explain the various roasts and brewing methods, helping me choose the perfect coffee tailored to my taste.

What stood out the most about Tynill was her attention to detail. She ensured that my coffee was brewed to perfection, and it tasted absolutely divine. Her expertise in crafting the ideal cup of coffee was evident, and it made my visit truly memorable.

Beyond her barista skills, Tynill's friendly and welcoming personality created a fantastic atmosphere in the cafe. She engaged in genuine conversation, making me feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer. Her dedication to customer satisfaction was commendable, and it's evident that she takes pride in her work.

In summary, Paradox Coffee Roaster Bar is a gem, and Tynill's exceptional service made my visit unforgettable. I highly recommend this place to all coffee enthusiasts, and I look forward to returning for another delightful coffee experience. Tynill is undoubtedly an asset to the establishment, and her passion and professionalism shine through in every...
