Mudgee Bah Espresso Cafe — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Food slow, portions small, our friend ordered ten minutes after us and got his food, but we waited another 15 minutes on top of when his food arrived. I think they forgot our order maybe. Service though was shocking, I never complain and don't really care that much about good service. The owners were nice, but the serving staff had to be chased to do anything, with no table service. You have to go to the counter, order drinks, then go back and order food, having to pay the bill each time for the trouble, instead of getting a bill at the end. Twice we had to ask for two plastic plates for our kids, and they finally brought out only one plate, so we had to go and ask a third time for a second plate. Then they brought it out and the server basically slapped it down and scoffed at our child saying "that's a big plate". When we arrived it was "sit wherever you want" really gruffly. On top of all that we were overcharged by at least $5 when I got home and checked the transactions later on. I would never come back here just to pay $70 for two meals and two iced coffees. My partner and I recently visited Mudgee Bah and had an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and welcoming vibes. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, with tasteful decor and plenty of natural light. The menu was impressive, with a wide range of options for breakfast, lunch, and everything in between. We opted for a cappuccino, matcha milk foam, a burger and some handmade cakes, all of which were outstanding. What really stood out to me, though, was the service. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they clearly take pride in what they do. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed, and even offered recommendations for other great spots to check out in the area. Overall, I would highly recommend Mudgee Bah to anyone looking for a great meal and a welcoming atmosphere. It's clear that the folks who run this place truly care about their customers, and that dedication shines through in every aspect of the experience. I can't wait...

They wouldn’t allow me to sit there with my little puppy on my lap. She is in training to be a service dog and is very small. She doesn’t have a license yet, but she is well behaved and quiet. They told me I would have to move out to the parking lot side in the heat and as a disabled person with POTS I can’t regulate my body temperature so it was unsuitable. I’m very disappointed as it was quite an effort for me to get there and I feel like an exception could have been made as a case by case basis. (The cafe around the corner accommodated us both with no issues so here we are sitting in a nice shady spot comfortably with no issues...
