Maries Pizza Mudgeeraba — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Ordered 2 Family pizzas one was in a deal with garlic bread and a drink. I sent someone else to pickup and when it arrived at home there was one family and one large pizza.

The large was meant to be a family, I ordered myself and I know exactly what I ordered, unfortunately when I rang to ask what I was charged for they said I was charged for one large and one family so “we can’t do anything about that, you got what we charged you for” was the statement by the person on the phone.

Not very pleasant, definitely need some customer service and fix your mistakes. If your calls are recorded you will hear my order and it was not my fault yet stuck with the wrong size pizza which for a little more would have had a family.

**EDIT: Quit happy to assist? By saying “you got what you paid for” only when I sounded annoyed and said “whatever mate don’t worry about it” was when he offered to get a manager. Sorry I hang up after 4 minutes of waiting for the manager, while my pizza was smaller and also going COLD.

You had my number you could have called me, did you know that? You seen this review and you also could have called me. So you had two opportunities to make this better, but you DID NOT.

HILARIOUS - just read the other reviews!!! Don’t order from this place - turn off your online ordering if you can’t cope or deliver!

ORDERED ONLINE “skip the phone queue” - ordered placed at 7.14. At 8pm i called and got told they are busy etc etc. I was told we will definitely have delivery before 8.30. I called at 8.46pm, got told it was the next order to leave the story and it will be about 20/30 minutes! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! No communication- starving kids - waste of $. Never again. Almost 9pm, no food yet.

9.20pm - still no pizza!! Have been told it’s the next order to leave (again).

Rang for a refund - got told 10 business days.

Every time I call I have been told it’s sitting there waiting to pick up - god knows what state the food will be in.

9.27pm food received - but not correct 🥴😂 - pizza was very dry. We ended up with pasta instead of chicken wings - I can’t even call and speak to them again. Food in bin - waste of a night - most likely not even safe to eat at this point 🤮

The food is pretty good, however I have 2 complaints. One is that we ordered a pizza with Avo, which was put on the pizza before cooking. Never had cooked Avo before, it was not terrible but not expected and would not order that again, in my view, Avo is eaten fresh and uncooked and is delicious like that on a pizza. Second complaint is that we ordered from the menu but prices were higher. When I queried it I was advised that the menu is wrong, they have increased prices but not updated menus. That is wrong, you should know what you will be paying from what is advertised on the menu, not be expected to pay whatever you are told with the menu being meaningless. Should actually give them 1 star for that but the food was pretty good,

Reply to feedback from Maries Pizza: I ordered from the board above the counter and the Medium Garlic and cheese was indicated at 8,50 but I was required to pay 10,50. When I queried it I was told the board prices are in fact wrong, it is not...
