Palm Beach Bakery — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Cream donuts today were not fresh and the cream was off. Its a shame, as i really want the bakery to do well. The lemon meringue pie, and the bread however was good. I will try them again as all else was good and maybe ot was just a bad day for cream donuts. STOP PRESS: I have lived in this town for 50 years, and love to and will always support small business in Palm Beach. This morning my partner and i went to buy some cakes 30 dollars worth in all to treat our family. Ok i had a whinge about the cream donuts and felt bad about it, so i gave the lemon meringue pie a rap .(average). After biting into the chocolate eclair, i am very disappointed and nearly was sick. The cream is sour, the pastry is like a rock. My family dont do cakes and the like very much at all. We wont be in any hurry either to do it again . $ 30 WORTH...

I like my pepper steak pies so when I dropped in for the first time in this bakery to get a few things I decided to get myself a pepper steak pie. I got home 5 mins later and took a bite and I found myself gagging and running to the toilet the throw up. The meat filling was rancid.. Definitely not buying a pie or any other hot food from there again. My family had no issues with anything else I bought them though but my experience with the pie turned me off this bakery. Update: this bakery is located across the road from the 7 eleven service station and I usually see it as I exit the servo. This one time I decide to visit the bakery and I regret my decision. Delightful girls to serve you in their front of house, full of the most magical pastries that one could put a tongue into. Also be surprised at the fantastic coffee, Rich, full of the Crema, however the delights of delights, you must have their lamingtons, fresh, where they just literally melt-in-your-mouth, with a lovely twinge of coolness as they keep them slightly chilled, just adding to the memory.. only to await my next return.❣️ And all for only $3.70 you could probably feed two, they are...
