Really good pizzas; useless time management. Ordered 2 pizzas & calzone, pick up. Told 20mins. Turn up 20mins later, pay, told 10mins wait. OK, no dramas really, 7pm, quite possible to have a delay this time of night. Return to the carpark to twiddle my thumbs for 10mins. Back into shop, told pizzas just going into oven, another 7mins wait. Hang on, it was 20mins half an hour ago; it was 10 minutes 10mins ago; now it's another 7mins?? When I articulate this to the kid at the front counter, he is very apologetic, says they just had a flush of orders; whilst a delivery driver walking out the door with an order flips me off & tells me my timing is whack. Ah, OK, starting to get the picture now. If you order pick-up, and there are delivery orders that come in after your order, you will be shunted further back & back in the queue until the delivery orders are taken care of - even if they are placed well after your pick-up order. Basically as an economic imperative, delivery orders are prioritised over pick-up orders, regardless of the time at which they are placed. So if you want great pizza, delivered, then these guys are clearly a great choice! But if you want pizza & are doing a pick-up order... well, be prepared to potentially have multiple delays & some creative finger-banging skill display from the delivery driver that is probably the person that shunted your order back in the first place, & now feels guilty about the situation he has created for his fellow employees taking heat from customers at the counter as he walks out the door. No mistake, in the end we received beautiful pizzas! Absolutely. But completely useless management of customer service...
Read moreI decided to take a chance and try two pizza’s from Pizza Capers last night. It was my first time I ordered from Pizza Capers. I got the Alfunghi and the Reef & Beef and I was blown away. This is hands down the best tasting Pizza franchise out there. I couldn’t believe this was a franchise joint. When you think franchise usually you think of Pizza Hut and Dominos and with that cheaper Pizza’s with less toppings and lower quality ingredients. That’s not the case with these guys, the toppings are a generous and the quality of the ingredients is noticeably better than other franchises. The choice and variety is excellent! They have got some unique and tasty looking choices on the menu. The price is absolutely unbeatable, their premium Pizza’s are cheaper than Domino’s or Pizza Huts’s premium Pizza’s, I couldn’t believe it! As for the bases, I got a gluten free base and it was fine, I can’t complain, it was nothing special (same as Dominos - probably made in the same factory). All in all, I absolutely recommend these guys and I will be going back. They tick all the boxes, it’s a no brainer. I used to frequent a private Pizza joint that closed down, so I have been searching for another and I refused to lower my standards and just settle for Pizza Hut or Dominos. I am glad I found my new favourite Pizza joint and it’s...
Read moreEasily the best pizza I’ve ever had. The service is always solid, and the staff are genuinely friendly and on top of things. I love the outdoor seating, it just fits the vibe of the place perfectly. Every time I go, the pizza's cut just right which I weirdly appreciate, and the atmosphere overall just works. It’s in the kind of spot that makes sense for what it is, chill, inviting, and worth going out of your way for. I’d 100% recommend it to anyone who’s into great pizza and a relaxed place...
