Red Rooster Nerang — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I went through the drive threw and asked for a large classic quarter combo, I was then asked if I wanted a combo and I said yes a large classic quarter combo with a breast piece. She then proceeded to ask me another two times if I wanted a combo and what piece I wanted. We paid, had to park for a few minutes (there was no one in the drive threw behind us) and then we got our order. Checked over it in the car quickly and went home only to realise I didn’t get my chips or the piece I asked for. I called the store and was told to come back and they would fix it up for me. My partners gone to get my food while his food now sits and gets cold. They have given nothing or offered anything to compensate their mistake or us having to drive back to the store. They didn’t offer a voucher for the food instead they just expected us to come back so they could fix it. So...

Decent food, but the trade-off is a decent wait time - repetitively due to staff behind the scenes. Front counter staff are extremely on point with their customer service, efficiency, and friendliness. The staff prepping the food, on the other hand, are painfully slow, unprofessional, more interested in gossiping or attempting to "look cool".. And, from personal repetitive experience, they have a penchant for purposely making the front counter staff get frustrated at their previously mentioned unprofessionalism! It's an average of 3 times the console staff have to encourage or nicely demand the crew in the kitchen move a little faster for the customer. Again? Decent food, great service. I went into the store and asked to use the toilet to change my shirt and put on a tie to attend my stepbrothers funeral after driving 2 and a half hours to Nerang. The manager scoffed and laughed at me and refused to allow me to use their mirror. I mostly wanted to make sure I got my tie right. So I got changed in the car park out the front of the store. The manager is a disgusting little man. Not only that he warned me that the police were in the car park. I never raised my voice or did anything unpleasant however I did leave in utter disgust.
