To be honest, I was excited when you first came to town. You brought some hype, and I thought that’s what Nerang needed — a bit of buzz, something new and exciting. Even though it was “just kebabs,” you were shouting from the rooftops about how good they were. You got me curious.

My first try was the Adana. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great either. Need to eat 3 for a fill. I regretted not just getting a kebab that day. I figured I’m happy to support the locals so I’ll come back and try one next time.

But here’s why I didn’t - your attitude. You started off with good hype, but it quickly turned into negative dribble. I saw you rubbishing other businesses instead of just focusing on your own. You say “honest review” 35 times, then claim the chips weren’t cooked — immediately after you say it’s not cooked you pop another in your mouth? Nobody does that. Nobody identifies an undercooked chip and just pops it in their mouth!!! That’s not an honest review.

Instead of encouraging my wife to try your place, I now avoid it because I don’t trust what you say. I’ve also seen you posting videos having a go at Uber drivers for delays while you’ve got more orders sitting there waiting. Telling off a driver while customers’ meals sit on the bench doesn’t make sense — and it’s not a good look with other customers watching.

Lived in Nerang the last 20 odd years! Came here about 2 months ago so friendly!!! Owner was Willing to cater to customers and keep them happy! I have had a gastric surgery that doesn’t allow me to eat much and he was so happy to accommodate my needs and instead of a full big rice dish made me a smaller portion (that I couldn’t finish anyway) that was a 3rd the size of the standard dish and only charged me $10 I was sooo stoked and the main reason I came back again, tonight! Hmm but tonight was a different experience. I relayed the info from the previous order to the staff one being his wife and she was unsure which was ok.. whilst we waited for the owner to make the call 5-10mins later he refused to honour the same offer to me and said it was impossible and that he probably honoured it out of love last time (what has changed)? The full meal is a total cost of $18 which is 3x larger than what I needed.. after a bit of umming and ahhring they decided since it was close to close of business to just honour it at $15. That’s fine but i felt the customer service was totally different and lacked any kind of respect. I just think that they need to keep their customers happy regardless of requirements as a family owned business to have returning customers who will remember and recommend...

From the moment I stepped in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel welcome. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout my entire visit.
