I had the pleasure of dining at Seaside Kitchen and Bar on a Sunday night during my visit to Burleigh Beach. The restaurant's proximity to the beach, just a 600-meter walk, added to the overall experience. I opted for my all-time favorite dish, the chili and basil stir-fry pork belly with a side of rice. The dish was delightful, with the pork belly achieving a satisfying crispiness. However, I couldn't help but wish for a more generous serving of basil leaves to infuse the meal with richer flavors.

One aspect that truly stood out was the exceptional customer service provided by our server. They were not only welcoming but also extremely friendly, which enhanced the dining experience. Their attentiveness and willingness to accommodate our needs were greatly appreciated. The atmosphere at Seaside Kitchen and Bar was pleasant, with a beachy, relaxed vibe that complemented the beachside location.

In summary, my visit to Seaside Kitchen and Bar was a positive one, with delectable food and commendable customer service. First time visit. If I could award more stars I would.. I mentioned when booking it was our 48th wedding anniversary. On arrival we were ushered to a beautifully set table with cloth, wine glasses, serviettes in a lovely wooden ring, candle lantern (no other table had same setup), in a quiet corner…..impressed from word go. Next the food, amazing selection… we choose seafood net rolls, duck pancakes, crispy soft shell crab, chilli basil crispy pork and prawn pad Thai….outstanding is an understatement, the best Thai we can ever remember eating, service could not be faulted. Entire evening was an absolute delight. Bo, one of the waitresses also excelled in helping us with a transport problem at the end of the evening…..just another Star to be added. If you are a local or a visitor I urge you to go but do it midweek, apparently Friday n Saturday nights are buzzing with fun n noise from those enjoying next door’s...
