Siam Street Thai — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I rarely buy take-out. This was treat as it was my birthday. I ordered chicken green curry hot and the chicken basil sauce also hot. When we got home and opened the containers they really smelt bad. The basil was stronger than the curry in terms of bad smell. It was hard to tell if it was meant to be this way or if it was not to be eaten. My green curry was not green and had very little flavour, more like dishwash water flavour (not that I have tried dishwash water). I only ate half, I just couldn't do it. After eating I realised this was suppose to be hot. It wasn't even mild. My sin who ate the other dish, also was meant to be hot, cannot tolerate heat, he didn't notice any heat either. 2 weeks after the last time🤗 I had chicken spring rolls and Tom Yam noodle soup😋 It smelled so good when the noodles soup was served 😍 The soup was quite thick, nice spicy and sourness 😁 The noodle itself was quite soft😅 Overall I liked it but the soup was a bit salty for me😅 I couldn't finish it all🙁 The spring roll was not so special for me🤔 I’d like to try more their dishes next time 🥳

It was late lunch today. So it's not a busy time which is good for me😋 I had Chicken wings and YENTAFO🍜 The noodle soup, it's hard to explain the flavour 😅 It has saltiness, garlic, celery leaves, a bit of chilli and a bit of vinegary. My Thai friend told me about this restaurant so I took my other friend for lunch here. The food was great and it came out quick. The person attending the restaurant taking our order is a bit unfriendly and at some time sounded rude. That's the only thing I didn't like about the restaurant is the lady serving the food looks angry and just dropped the food on our table. But overall the food is really nice and very affordable. About $33 each person on all the food we've ordered. We really like their noodles too and we're expecting for the condiments to be place in our table along with the noodles but it was never given to us.
