The most unfriendly customer service I have ever received. I think they are way understaffed, probably overworked. I have been there 20+ times and received friendly service only twice. One time I was standing at the takeway counter for 15 straight minutes with no service. I even got a few glances from the staff and they still didn't care to serve me. I waved my arm up (one member saw) and still no service. Their priority was seating everyone who came after me. Ended up just walking away! They seemed too busy and understaffed. Now about the way they act... I am always using my P's and T's. In return, almost always there is no smile, an attitude, and no thank you. Today I got a sassy head tilt and sharp yell of the price after waiting 5 minutes outside with not one other customer in front of me. Literally acted like the sassy Regina George from Mean Girls. I would compare it to that! Sassy attitude from mostly the females. Never happy to see a customer unless they are dining in. This isn't a cultural thing either- I know the difference. I go to other sushi places regularly and they are always at least greeting in a friendly way (the way I greet them as a customer). Why are they even in customer service if they so clearly hate the simplest requirements of the job?
Anyway, I figured I had to post a review after all this time because it just can't keep happening.
I go there because I like the sushi when bought earlier in the day. That's it. If it wasn't for that I would give this place 1 star.

Read moreI wish there was a "no star" option. Where do I start!! I'll start by saying without hesitation that it was my worst customer experience. The man who served us was RUDE and blunt. He made my partner and I feel like an inconvenience by the way he spoke and the looks he gave us. Quite uncomfortable really! In exact words I asked "Can I please just have the fried praw rolls" into which he responded "No, no prawn. Only tuna, salmon and chicken" I then kindly responded with "no worries, ill grab the salmon baby rolls thanks". The response I got from him was "No, we're still waiting for the salmon to come" THEN WHY SUGGEST SALMON DUDE? Regrettably, we completed our order. We also ordered 2 drinks and he didnt give them to us. We assumed he would when our food was ready. WRONG. My partner hard to physically lean over the counter to grab our drinks as he gave us the food and turned around straight away. No customer service care, just RUDE. It wasn't even worth it! The food was horrible. Rice was dry and tasted a day old from being cooked. Nothing was fresh. Presentation was poor. The sushi we have been receiving falls apart; rice isn’t sticky!
The customer service is poor, i was standing outside waiting at the sign that says “please wait to be seated”. A girl working there didn’t acknowledge me as I’m standing there looking at her to get her attention that I want to be served… whilst she was mucking around with a mayonnaise lid taking her time. She kept looking over at me with no verbal communication, until I then said “uh hey am I able to order?” I then waited for back and forth communication between the chef and the waiter to then be told “uhh it’ll be 30mins” without even asking what I wanted to order… it was 30mins till 8:00pm there closing time so I assume they couldn’t be bothered despite it being quiet in there.
I work in hospitality, customer service should be a priority! I felt like I was ignored and disregarded :(
